It is astounding that a multi billion dollar company has had over a decade to work out the kinks in their app and they’re still just as flawed as ever. If you zoom out to get a better idea of where you’re going, it will, for example show a building on the opposite side of the street than what is actually on. It takes you on very ineffective circuitous routes. God help you if you’re in a roundabout with more than four spokes because it will always tell you to turn on the wrong one. The app designers have no regard for your safety and will routinely take you on forest roads or roads made for jeeps only without any alert coming up. I could go on with another 20 to 25 flaws in their design, programming, etc.

Google maps always sends people the longer route to get to my home. Cost is 20 $ and more extra on gas for people since they get sent 2 hours out of their way. We can see images from out of space, but cant get proper directions on google maps. How sad.

My own house number is placed on a house 2 numbers down - tried to correct, correction was denied. A duplicate house number on the side road was reported for removal (e.g. side road with houses numbered 1-12 irl but on maps there is an extra number for "81" from main road) - correction denied. Fine, have wrong data, mislead people, bad service, bad product.

Usually google maps is working fine, but there are so many instances where it led us astray and change our usual route. This one time, the maps led us to a very small road cliff which almost got us killed because of it. I'm really fuming due to this

sinceramente no tengo nada positivo para opinar acerca de esta penosa aplicación, No te publicarán las reseñas sea de la puntuación que sea ya que a ellos no les conviene publicarlas, no entiendo como es que tienen un sistema de reseñas que luego modifican a su antojo y gana por tal de que no salgan las publicaciones negativas lo cual se hace sospechar la transparencia de esta plataforma. Sinceramente es una perdida de tiempo y lo que están consiguiendo es que la gente se decante por medidas mucho mas fuertes en caso de experiencias negativas como hojas de reclamaciones y denuncias. Es una vergüenza que quieran tapar la verdad de esta manera Además las fotos llevan sin actualizarse muchisimo tiempo lo cual indica claramente una dejadez de la aplicación por parte de ellos. Me duele comentar tan mal de esta aplicación que fue muy util en los años anteriores pero desde que están utilizando esta política engañosa ha perdido muchísimo valor y funcionalidad. No merece la pena seguir utilizando maps a dia de hoy, lastima pero es la realidad la gran caida en picado
