Manhattan PrepReviews of manhattanprep.com

Was able to experience 3 different instructors (trial class, make-up, etc.) and found all of them to be excellent. Great job cultivating teaching talent. One key feedback would be to consider better organization of class size and composition. I was in a large class with wide range of skills/needs and found the classroom dynamic to be very limiting even with a strong instructor. I picked it based on the instructor reviews and my schedule, but found that in the end my peers would also have a large impact on class quality.

The Manhattan Prep weekly in-person course was fantastic. Matt was very professional and knew all of the tips and tricks needed to really ace the test. He didn't just teach the material - he taught how to approach the questions and how to score well on the test by using patterns and tricks. They have a great set of resources that they make available to you. They teach you how to learn your weaknesses and strengths and set you up for success. I studied for a few weeks on my own after the course, but I would not have been able to do that efficiently without taking the course. Thanks you Matt and thank you Manhattan prep!

Honestly, I loved the group class that I took. There were not too many people in the class, so there was a lot of one-on-one time during practice problems. I felt like the sessions got a little crunched for time in the end. I also feel like Manhattan prep's tests were a little easier than the ETS tests (I took two), specifically the vocab for text completion and sentence equivalence. All and all I would definitely recommend Manhattan Prep to anyone and everyone looking for GRE help!

Initially I attended the MGMAT LIVE class and thought the teaching was merely OK. The syllabus was fast and toward the end the instructor rushed through the material leaving many students unfamiliar with concepts and lacking in confidence to take the test. A few months later I chose to take the Online Class and am happy with it. Although I wish the video feed was better. A competitor teaching the same materials has an excellent online platform for teaching this material and I wish MGMAT would incorporate this technology into their online teaching sessions. Overall good value with MGMAT but it's all up to the student in the end to put in the effort for a great outcome (GMAT score)!

The quant section is brilliant but I did not find the verbal section strong. I was not able to improve myself in the verbal.

I loved the online sessions and the material which are of great value. It would have been a complete prep if they provided easy to use online questions which have an explanation so that students can avoid searching online for answers (which is a waste of time). Navigator needs a lot of updates. The course is content based and interact videos are of top quality. The material I got was very high quality. Thanks guys.

Manhattan Prep was useful for helping me with timing issues during the GMAT. However, so much of it is luck and how you are feeling at the exact time you take the test. The number of questions is limited on the actual test, so you can definitely improve but don't expect a perfect score. I was able to improve my score 120 points from my first practice test to my third real attempt, so that was helpful. Instructor was engaged and cared about how I did. He emailed me after class was over. Now, I see him around the neighborhood. Worth the money given how large of a weight this test has on your MBA prospects.

The 9 week GMAT class was expensive but it gave me a syllabus and forced me to study. I enjoyed the class and found it very helpful in learning new material as well as relearning content from high school. Overall, I would recommend the class.
