$428 for Nothing
I paid $428 for the GMAT Self-Study Toolkit + physical books, but when I tried to access my online materials, I was taken to an error page and could not use the product I purchased. I emailed customer support to resolve the access issue and also emailed less than 2 hours after ordering to cancel the physical books because I realized I already owned them. I did not receive a response, so I called customer support. On the phone, I was told I would be eligible for a refund and would receive email confirmation. The only follow-up I received was a generic email saying it looked like I had called in and “was assisted,” with no confirmation of the refund, no resolution of the access issue, and no explanation of next steps. I never received the refund or working access to the materials. At this point, I paid $428, could not access the online product, and was told I would receive a refund that never came. This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience, especially from a major test prep company.
