Emily Sledge - GREAT instructor!
Emily Sledge was fantastic! She did a great job of keeping the class active and involved. The material from class and the physical books was very thorough. Would recommend the course to anyone!

My in-person Manhattan Prep course was fine, but all of the online resources expire only 3-months after your class and Manhattan Prep refused to extend my resources for 2 DAYS without having to pay $50 (when I already spend $1600 on the course). It did not make me feel like they were invested in my success on the GMAT at all. I used Veritas Prep for admissions consulting, and they granted me access to all of their GMAT prep online resources as part of that package, so I would definitely recommend Veritas as it seems like a better value for your money.

Hi knicolem, thanks for your feedback! We take pride in our customer service, and strive to provide a positive experience for all of our students, customers, and partners. I'm sorry that your recent experience with us fell short of that mark. You're correct that our policy is that online resources are valid from the date that a student registers for a course up to three months after the final class session - this is noted in our terms and conditions that all students are asked to confirm receipt of prior to purchase. We like to stick to our policies in order to provide a fair and equitable experience for all of our students - if we make an exception for one student, we would have to make the same exception for all students. That said, someone from our Student Services team will be reaching out to you directly to see how we can turn your overall experience with us into a positive one. Best of luck with the remainder of your GMAT and business-school journey!

I took a Manhattan Prep GMAT course in Winter 2017 and it was incredibly helpful. The instructor, Matt Brandon, was great at delivering the subject material and test strategies in simple, easy to understand ways. He was also great at keeping the class entertaining and fun when the material is anything but that. I took the GMAT for the first time last year and got a 660, which is a good score but short of my goal of 700. After having to put the test and B-school on hold for a year I got back into studying this summer and needed some help getting over the hump on SC. I purchased a private tutoring session with Gregg Lachow who not only helped me improve my verbal score, he gave me the excellent advice to schedule a 2nd test shortly after my original appointment. After that tutoring session I posted my two highest verbal scores ever and hit my target of 700.

I took the Executive Assessment Complete Course with instructor Elaine Loh at Manhattan Prep. Elaine taught the Manhattan Prep's course in a way that made the material easy to understand, and each class with her was almost fun. Elaine has the ability the break down complex concepts and explain them in a concise way to truly show what skills the EA is testing. The one-on-one sessions (that come included with the course) were incredibly helpful. I was able to score 10 points higher than what I was aiming for, for a total of a 160 on the EA. This would not have been possible without Elaine and the Manhattan Prep course (also made the course fee COMPLETELY worth it). I would HIGHLY recommend taking a class with Manhattan Prep, especially with Elaine, if you are serious about improving your Executive Assessment score

The live Manhattan Prep GMAT course was critical to my success and enabled me to ultimately score a 740. My instructor, Dhivya Arumugham was very well-prepared, articulate and knowledgeable. I would really recommend Dhivya as an instructor - she provides clear, concise explanations of problems, has a good sense of humor and brings a lot of energy to some mundane topics. The course is very structured and incorporates quant, verbal, and test taking strategy each week. The online learning portal makes it very easy to manage your assignments weekly, track progress, and flag areas of weakness to review. I took the exam for the first time only two days after the course ended (which is not recommended) and scored a 690. After another month of review using the official guide and other quant drills, I scored a 740. I am convinced that Manhattan prep was key to my success and the price was well worth it. They also provide additional resources including webinars about certain test areas, selecting the right schools for you, applications, and interviews. You have access to an individual review of a practice exam with an instructor to create a study plan. I also received a free half-hour session with an admissions consultant who helped tremendously and could answer questions about the specific schools to which I applied.

I took a GMAT prep class at Manhattan Prep with Laurel Hanson in late 2017, and highly recommend the course. Laurel is a fantastic teacher and makes what could be a very dry course fun. She's smart, patient, and has a ton of easy tricks that help not only with learning the material (which most students haven't encountered since high school), but also with timing (which, for a lot of people, is the hardest part of the GMAT). The books you receive when you sign up for the course are extremely helpful as well, and make high-quality studying after the course has finished entirely doable.
