I think the class and the materials are great but did not feel like I got the personalization I needed. Asked my instructor for a practice test assessment and he agreed that he would do mine and tried to schedule time but did not hear back but times that work so felt like after the class was over, there wasn’t anymore communication or feedback on how I was doing or if I’m making gains, especially with evaluating how I’m doing and if I’m reaching my goals with the materials provided. Also, was not contacted for a post course assessment. With that, I don’t feel like Manhattan Prep gives you any love after the class is over and the money is received.

Reed is an excellent instructor with great energy!

I felt that the GMAT course was fast-paced for me since I work full-time. This makes it hard to really absorb the material and to complete all the assignments. Reviewing problem sets and learning materials require a lot of time committment in between sessions. I felt that I didn’t have enough time in between sessions to reinforce everything I’ve learned. My instructor encouraged a full review after all sessions were over. I scheduled my GMAT before I started this class. It was scheduled 3 weeks after the class ended. This did not give me enough time to review everything and improve on weaker areas. I should have rescheduled the test now I’ll be retaking it once my practice exams are in my more ideal score range.

The videos wouldn’t always seamlessly start with audio. I assumed it’s because I have a MAC but that was a little annoying to have to restart each segment to make sure the audio would play on time with the video.

I had a great experience at Manhattan Prep with Ceilidh as my GRE tutor. My quant score went up 10 points from my original practice test with only a month of tutoring. Ceilidh and Manhattan Prep worked with me to do intensive instruction twice per week given the limited time I had before my test. They helped me beat my goal score and gave me confidence in my abilities.
