I truly enjoyed the course and benefited tremendously from it. The Manhattan Prep resources were great - strategy guides, assigned homework, Atlas, Interact, and CATs. The CAT tests helped prepare me well for the real test and the Atlas/CAT performance metrics were very helpful. The instructors Emily and Mike were great teachers and consistently went above and beyond. I really enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend this course to anyone that is embarking on their GMAT journey.

It was worth the investment. My instructor, Chris, was very effective at grabbing our attention and explaining techniques in practical ways.

I'll start by saying that it is just really great when your instructor has a personality and makes you feel like you are learning from a real person and not a standardized test-taking robot. David is approachable, funny and interested in his student's well being, both personally and performance-wise. This helps him connect with each student to find the right approach for them. Now, to the quality of instruction. For someone like me (hard-headed and stubborn), David could not have been more effective in proving the usefulness and applicability of MPrep methodologies, tips, tricks and approaches for solving problems and time management. He won't stop you from solving an problem with pure algebra if that's what you want to do...but boy is he convincing when he takes the same exact problem and shows you how to solve it in half the time and a fraction of the headache. David puts a lot of emphasis on learning "how" to study and being able to independently improve outside of the classroom versus crunching as many practice problems as possible through the course of a class session. This is important. David knows and proves to his students that having the right tools to effectively learn on your own study time (which is where most of the hours are spent) is much more important than banking on just the classroom time to get you where you need to be. Overall, David is a great instructor and MPrep is lucky to have him.

I absolutely recommend Manhattan Prep as a great choice for GMAT prep. I took a 10-week class and participated in private tutoring. With the learning and support I got from MPrep, I was able to get a score I am really happy with. Elaine L's class is absolutely wonderful. She makes learning about GMAT question strategies fun (yes, fun!) and helps keep the process super positive. After the first class, I already felt so much better about how to go about completing specific problem types and felt that the test was definitely something I could conquer. If you're thinking about utilizing a test prep company, Manhattan Prep is a great company in terms of the resources they provide (books, blog posts, practice tests, etc.) and the instructors are awesome.
