There are a lot of good people working on this boat(s) surrounded by a sea of mediocrity. It is a great location and has the machines we like to play, Otherwise, we would go to 1) a casino with professional looking well trained staff 2) a clean, well kept casino 3) a casino where we could invite guests without being embarrassed 4) a casino where the loyalty program is consistent and understandable

Of the three boats I can go to I pick Majestic Star Casino because they appreciate my business the most. The promos mean so much to me and help being able to stay longer. With the packets they send I can plan my month for the days best for me to come. I always get something even when I don't win and that means a lot. Food, gifts or extra points. I appreciate the promo money the most and I will always pick Majestic Star Casino first !!!

The staff is very friendly. I win sometimes, though not as often as I'd like. My only problem is the inconsistency of the promo offers.

I love coming there but I get frustrated with the promo cash not working.

I like going to Majestic because of the smiles you receive when boarding and the smiles you receive when leaving, you can't be in a bad mood. Seema like you always see someone you know as this casino was one of the first around. Says a lot that people keep going back. I have never had to wait for anything, change, slot attendents, hosts, change at booth or a jackpot payout. Good service, always pleasant. I think the music played here is one of the reasons why, it's always upbeat. I would like to win more like everyone does but you do leave with a goodbye and a smile.

I love that they have put signage in the parking garage. The new painted lines are also good. I wish they would ticket & tow the cars that are always illegally parked, driving the wrong way or cutting through the pedestrian walkway. I am glad they have a no smoking floor of gambling because the boats are very smoky. How come they never seem to stop people from smoking in the no smoking areas? I see people walking around smoking from the buffet, wings & things & the garage. They walk right by security & other employees & no one says anything. The escalators of Majestic Star I have been out of use for months and you never even see anyone working on them no matter what time you go. Now the escalator has been down going from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor in the mezzanine area. How does that pass fire inspection with all those escalators down? The Steakhouse has great food! The food in the Access Lounge for the VIP's does leave much to be desired. It is usually cold even if you are the 1st person served when the lounge opens. Food is supposed to be kept warm at specific temperatures - how they pass inspection is well beyond me. Some of the employees are very good, helpful & professional. The rest not so much. Waitresses are nice in the lounge but are either over-worked, under-trained or just not very good since some have been there years & still do not get it right. The Buffet is not very good. The dishes are often dirty. The food is always the same type of food but tastes different each time. They put meat in just about everything, leave us some sides & entrees without meat! In fact the boats & the restaurants are rather dirty whether it is your table, chair, dishes or where the food is served. Machines are always dirty & so are the Rondas. You have to watch out for people scamming you - we have even been taken. Some of these people get quite a bit of money from people all day long. You also have to be careful so your purse does not get stolen - my friend had hers stolen. The rewards program is unclear & seems to change daily, it does not have a clear set of rules for the patron. It is hard to find a Casino host, I know they have cut down on them. It used to be much more fun, you could win some & play for a while and it had good rewards. I like to go for the contests, however numerous prizes are not awarded. If there is a contest all the prizes should be awarded! Now it seems you spend your money quickly & do not get to play as much or win. Getting comps can be very difficult & tedious. I go here because my friends are here - we have been coming here since it opened & it is a habit plus we have spent so much money here earning our Access cards. I keep giving Majestic a chance because I remember how it used to be but I do not know how much longer I will keep up this habit.

I always enjoy my visit to Majestic Star Casino!

The main issue I have had with my last few visits are the elevators being out for months (Not Weeks). Scraping the back of my legs walking down the stairs. Machine buttons often not working. The environment has poor ventilation so your breathing in dangerous second-hand smoke. Other than these issues I make the best of each visit and usually enjoy the evening.
