Removing a star because I was sent the wrong item, which happened to be a non returnable item. The Maisonette team was very helpful and allowed me to keep the item along with giving me store credit for the cost. This was very generous and greatly appreciated, but I’m still disappointed that I didn’t receive the item I had originally ordered:( I considered ordering it again but didn’t want end up with two wrong items in case the issue hadn’t been resolved). All in all very pleased with Maisonette in my other experiences and in their handling of this issue.

I received an email from maisonette encouraging me to write a review after writing their care team….They responding promptly but I did not buy anything so cannot say how “trustworthy” they are. I am giving 4/5 because I spend 30 minutes shopping and picking out three expensive purses that I wanted because there was a banner that said 15% off site wide but didn’t mention exclusions or if they did it was not prominent for me to see after 30 minutes of web browsing on their website. When I tried to checkout I received an error message that it could not be applied but I didn’t know why so tried uppercase and lowercase…eventually discovered there was a large number of vendors or “boutiques” that weren’t included in the “SITEWIDE” 15% discount. They should make the exclusions apply factor more prominent so potential shoppers don’t get frustrated like me, and make the error message state that the code can’t be used due to the exclusions (not just a general vague can’t be applied message)

The communication was thorough with frequently updates, which I appreciated, but it took weeks to solve the problem.

We ordered a cute P'kolino bunk bed from Maisonette, which arrived promptly. However, all of the hardware was missing, as was one of the bed's parts. Fortunately, Maisonette's customer service acted swiftly, and interactions via phone and email were relatively quick. (Previous times we've ordered bigger, more expensive items on the website, we've been a bit disappointed in some way; for example, a play kitchen had a defective part and they could not send a replacement because the item was out of stock. But Maisonette was able to offer a discount for the inconvenience.) While we have yet to build the bed, we are generally happy with the purchase and the customer service experience. We also hope that future purchases of brands on Maisonette are smoother.

So I ordered the Toy from them on March 17th which got lost on shipping on March 27th and After i called their support they said they would not issue me a refund and instead file a claim with UPS and wait for the investigation to complete.Today April 13th, they are still doing their investigation and not issuing me the refund. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here as they will hold your money for logistical mistakes happening on their end also their shipping is expensive and they their free shipping sends you your order through the slowest possible shipping method (UPS surepost) . I wouldn't recommend ordering from them for their unreliable shipping and customer support. UPDATE: The Maisonette team reached out to me based on my review above and were able to resolve my issue and provide me with an immediate refund. I would still recommend maisonette because they did deliver the partial order of mine on time and on the expected date and this might have been a one off thing with a logistics losing a package that was shipped by a vendor and not maisonette themselves.

I had a terrible time with the guest checkout. It charged my card via PayPal but didn’t place the order. Turns out I wasn’t charged tax or shipping, so the price was much higher. The customer service was awful. I did a second order (not via guest checkout) and the costume arrived. ($15 more expensive) It was absolutely gorgeous though. My daughter looks like a butterfly princess!!!!

Customer service was very helpful. I was frustrated that the dress I ordered for my daughter was not going to arrive on time, for my child’s birthday. They were able to have the item expedited.

4 stars for Maisonette website where your product details are lacking. Actually Maria deserves 5 stars for getting me the needed answers for each of my very specific questions. Thank you, Maria and Maisonette!
