Mailboxforwarding.com - Fraudulent
In late 2025 / early 2026, I discovered that a collection account from IC System, listing Mailbox Forwarding Inc. as the original creditor, had been reported to my credit files with Experian and TransUnion. The reported balance is approximately $5,000. Original Creditor: Mailbox Forwarding Inc. Collection Agency: IC System My Mailbox Forwarding account was cancelled and closed in 2012 as was my business. The credit card on file expired a few years later, no charges landed anywhere. I had no reason to believe any balance remained outstanding. For well over a decade I received no invoices, collection notices, account statements, service communications, or other indication that Mailbox Forwarding believed I owed any money. Then, without any intervening account activity, a collection account suddenly appeared in late 2025 with an alleged balance of approximately $5,000 The information currently being furnished raises serious questions regarding the accuracy of the reported account history, including the chronology of the alleged debt, the basis for the reported balance, and the dates being furnished to the consumer reporting agencies. I am interested in pursuing legal action.
