So disappointed. Splurged and purchased an expensive dress for an event. It came sewn backwards. Because it was an international order, they would not exchange and required me to pay shipping to return it. Will never purchase from them again.

What I ordered and what I got were COMPLETELY different. I sent the company the pictures that show that they are not even remotely close and they kept saying it is the same dress and it was “the lighting” even though one dress was a sheath and the other was wide and shorter. The one I got was hideous. Sad company! Be prepared to get something different from what you actually order.

Dress fell apart while I was wearing it for the first time. Contacted customer service about a faulty product and they said they don’t provide customer service after the purchase is complete. Very expensive lesson to learn.

I bought several evening gowns and was so excited to get them. When I did, I found that out of $4k worth of dresses, only 3 fit. Which was fine, I kept the ones that worked and I was going to return the others. I requested a return label. Never got it. Requested it again. Didn't get it. What I found was that there is no actual phone number that actually lets you speak to someone for customer service. So, I called their main home office. I was given another email, and a different phone number. No response with these of either. (Mind you this is one or two calls a day for a couple of weeks.) I called back and again spoke to someone in 'accounting" and explained the issue. She understood, said they have so many issues like this and she would be glad to have someone in customer service reach out to me. After days and days of back and forth a woman called and said, "sorry, you should have contacted us before today. You time period to return these has just past." I was stunned. I am determined to let people know how I was treated and how Mac Duggal doesn't care about the end customer. It's a simple fact. And, yes I did get stuck with all the dresses and the bill. They don't care. Even with all the proof of my communications with them- nope... "Sorry!". I will never purchase this brand again.

Worst experience ever. Can’t believe I didn’t do more research. I was so desperate for a dress for a gala I bought two from here. Worst quality I’ve ever seen, it looks 20 dollars Vs 400. I’m a few days past my return window ( they make it super short on purpose) and now I’m stuck with 800 dollars worth of dresses I’ll never wear. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else on earth. Total SCAM of a company. I’ll write it wherever I can to save someone!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! Made a mistake, which I own up to, and tried to return a dress past the allotted date (I’m already wearing a different MD dress for a wedding I’m in). The customer service reps were extremely dismissive and unaware that I really needed help so I didn’t waste $400 (on a cheaply made, beads falling off) dress. Lied and told me a manager would call me back, never did. Once I finally spoke to said manager, (by finding random numbers and calling them online) she didn’t even know she was supposed to call me back. I really regret buying from them, and worse than the quality of their product is the quality of their customer service. I hope that by leaving this review, I stop someone else from making a horrible mistake and buying anything from this company. Adding an update (May 15, 2024) to say that once I was offered an exchange for store credit (which I will never ever ever use thanks to the horrible customer service and bad quality of dresses) I waited the “10 business days” and more, then had to call customer service in order to receive my money. The girl stated that “the email never sent, but everything was processed”. Basically, this company thought I would forget about 400 dollars and they wanted to keep it for themselves, along with the dress I sent back. Please read all these reviews, having all 1 star reviews speaks for itself. Don’t get involved with Mac Duggal.

I received the most beautiful dress but had to exchange it. I had to pay for the second one while my one was returned. They received it but still not have reimbursed me for the expense. They owe me $498. It's been a month. Don't buy from them!

I had posted a review titled REVIEWS HAVE ME WORRIED to which I received a prompt response from MD - Thank you. My first order arrived PROMPTLY, the GORGEOUS dress was ready to wear out of the box - but sadly, I had to exchange for a smaller size. I called customer care and Miss Hailey provided terrific assistance - my exchange for a smaller dress size was done within a week The smaller size was also big so I called for the next size down to that - not even caring that the original color was unavailable in my size — I did inform Miss Hailey that it had arrived in TERRIBLE condition - it was WRINKLED, CREASED but she assured me she would check with the warehouse/shipping for quality - but I guess they didn’t. Still, undeterred, that I had missed the window for the date I needed the dress for - I thought maybe the third time would be the charm - it wasn’t. The 3rd dress fit nicely but arrived TERRIBLY WRINKLED and CREASED like the second order. I just couldn’t understand how the first order arrived in such perfect ready to wear condition only to be followed by these two awfully packaged items. Honestly. If you go to any store - you don’t expect to pay $398 for an item to arrive in this awful condition. I tried calling earlier today to initiate my return for refund - and I was unable to get through on both tries. Mac Duggal, I honestly hope this isn’t a pattern in my attempt to satisfy my consumer dissatisfaction with my item for a refund. … as far as the dress I ordered - it is beautifully made, details to the zipper, pleating, quality of material were divine - but sadly ended there with whoever handles/oversees your shipments. will try again tomorrow to start my return for refund … but I truly hope to find your dresses/gowns in local big name store to ensure the ready to wear quality your pieces deserve are placed along with the dress on the hanger.
