BAIT and SWITCH
Promised flights and quoted fares, then claimed agent made a mistake AFTER charging my credit card (then apologized and removed the charge). Complaint filed with NY Attorney Gerneral's Office. AVOID AT ALL COSTS (especially since you have no idea whether the quoted cost is accurate or not).
Response from Luxury Business ClassAug 14, 2022
Here at Luxury Business Class we take as much pride in resolving a client's issue, as we do with a sale. We are always ready to do right when we are wrong. In this case, it was a small mistake made by one of our newer agents that we immediately corrected. Our employee simply did not include the cost of the two small domestic legs when he quoted the price of this trip to the client, for any of these purposes we let our clients know (especially in the airline industry) that we cannot guarantee a price until the tickets are issued with the airline as the airline can change a fare in a moment. When we learned of the mistake, our employee immediately reached out to the client to explain the situation and apologized profusely about the miscommunication and provided him an updated quote with the additional two domestic legs. After the client declined that option, we immediately voided the credit card charge and returned the full amount charged to the client's card. This was simple human error that has since been rectified. To show our good faith, we have added a credit of $250 towards the client's next flight. We have hundreds of happy customers, and we are not a "bait and switch" scam. The client has requested we honor what they offered, but as we explained to the client, we were unable to do that for them. As it says clearly on every quote we send out, "The quoted prices are not guaranteed until the tickets are issued." At this time, we do not have any funds from the client, we refunded this immediately back to the original payment method and offered other options.
