My mentor gave me a lot of resources to figure out what I wanted to research, and by guiding me on my selected path, I had an enjoyable experience and created a highly academic paper that matched with my study goals. Lumiere has been very generous with financial aid (I got a full ride!), so I hope the money will not be a factor that deters you from applying to the program. For students with limited access to research in their interests, Lumiere is an amazing opportunity to do so.

i’ve had a great experience working with lumiere! not only are the mentors and staff extremely helpful, but they’re also experts in their fields. the entire team is very organised and goes about everything in an extremely systematic manner. this journey was very insightful and helped me improve many of my skills.

I really enjoyed the experience of being able to freely research on a topic with the assistance of mainly my mentor. They provide me beneficial knowledge and research tips to help me increase my proficiency on the topic. It also gives me an opportunity to have something good on my CV. I don't remember the exact date that the individual research program start but it was a summer cohort for the year 2023.

I will forever be grateful for doing the Lumiere Research Program. The relationship I was able to grow between my mentor and me was phenomenal as we dived deeper and deeper in my research topic. My interest only grew and after the program I continue to read research articles, work to write my literature reviews, and dream to be able to do my own research very soon!

Lumiere has networked with the best mentors who are not only always willing to help you but also patient enough to listen to your ideas. Each week, my mentor pushed me to go a step ahead in my journey and he believed that what I learn while researching matters more than a .docx file. In addition to this the staff demonstrates excellent work ethic. It was great to have them during any problems, always ready with their strategies and management.
