I was in the Premium Research & Publication program, and my experience was great! I enjoyed writing my research paper with my mentor, who was very helpful. The Lumiere team is very active and supportive. :)

The mentors were extremely well prepared and were almost experts in their field. They were kind and considerate and helped me improve my research skills!!! I will use this knowledge as I further my education in college.

Lumiere is fostering academic research in high school students, equipping them with the skillset necessary for college life. As a high school student from Pakistan where such opportunities are limited, it enabled me to dive deeper into my interest of CS & AI.

Their guidance really helped me write a research paper I was happy with.

Lumiere provided me with the amazing opportunity to conduct research at a high school level. I was matched with a mentor who had studied what I was interested in and helped me out at every step of the journey. I learnt how to effectively conduct research, organise information, and write in scientific terminology. Furthermore, I gained knowledge about my area of interest as well. Overall, it was a great experience and it helped me a lot.

The experience was great! Each moment was extremely personal, and I definitely grew a lot closer to my mentor, who helped me an incredible amount. They would always follow up with me, and they were very understanding for any hiccups that came up along the way.

Researching at Lumiere was a culminating experience. I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on my interest in Biomedical engineering, specifically in prosthetics technology. I was paired with an amazing mentor who had expertise in the field, and he helped me streamline my interests (I was initially confused on what to research on) and coached me in my work on prostheses. One beautiful thing I love is Lumiere's organized timeline with weekly milestones which makes the final goal of writing and/or publishing a research paper seamless. I worked with writing coaches and publication strategists who were very helpful. At the end of the program, I was certified, given a grade report, and had my paper ready for publishing. My experience as a virtual researcher was a memorable one and I really recommend to high school and gap year students who are searching for opportunities to go extra miles in their college and career goals!

Everyone was so supportive I'm a current Stanford undergrad, and I've done a summer research program of Lumiere. Now, I'm in the process of publishing my paper. Normally, students my age would write and publish high school level papers. I wanted to go to college-level with my paper, and I was surprised with how supportive my mentor, program manager, publication strategist, and writing specialist were. All of the resources that I was provided with were not on the list for everyone from the beginning. Lumiere Team recommended me with personalized resources based on my paper, and my program manager helped me reach everyone during the program's busy time (when email boxes are messed by students' email). I really appreciate it that they were even more helpful than the program description says. I'm glad that I did my paper with them.
