The flexibility of the mentors was really helpful, especially at the beginning and end of the program. I also was super happy with the fact that the mentors were genuinely interested in me as a person and supportive of the kind of research I wanted to do. Overall, I had a fun time preparing my research paper with my mentors.

My mentor was very kind and helpful to me throughout the duration of my research paper. He helped me alongside my program manager, who also helped me through many challenges. Lumiere is an amazing program and provided me a smooth process throughout making my research paper.

Lumiere research program is one of the best things that happened to me. Before Lumiere, I didn't fully realize what it took to write an actual research paper. I wouldn't have been able to join the research program if it weren’t for their breakthrough scholarship program. I would recommend all students who look forward to working in the research field to gain experience in writing their first research paper with Lumiere.

Lumiere might be the one program I would never forget being a scholar in. What I accessed through Lumiere are things I am yet to fully benefit from, whether it is the mentorship and the benefits that came with it, the skills I gained from working on an empirical paper, or the groundbreaking results I reached.

Doing my research was incredible with Lumiere. I acquired all the fundamental knowledge about research. The program was very flexible, letting me choose the time when I am available, so the schedule did not cause any trouble. My mentor and manager were great and responsive.

My mentor helped teach me quite a lot about a field I had very minimally studied before: immunology. When I first entered Lumiere, I had my mind set on algorithms and technical bioinformatics, but was not really sure where to apply it. And that is when he introduced me to the incredible field of immunology, and I am beyond excited to state that the algorithm we both developed uncovered a new finding. Lumiere helped me put my first step forward in interdisciplinary work, and now a bounty of scientific research lies ahead for me to tackle; for that I am endlessly grateful.

### What was your experience with the Lumiere Research Program? My experience with the Lumiere Research Program was extremely valuable. At the beginning, I viewed the research as another project on my to-do list, but as I explored my topic , AI adoption in businesses, I became genuinely invested in the research. It gradually became a daily part of my life, and I found myself constantly asking what I had learned, what I could improve, and what contribution I could make through my research. A major strength of the program was the support I received from my mentor , Hrithik , and program manager, Kabir. They were both actively involved throughout the process, providing guidance, feedback, and support whenever I needed it. The workshops and research resources were also extremely helpful in strengthening my understanding of academic research and improving my paper. Overall, I believe the Lumiere Foundation has created a strong environment for young students to develop as researchers and future leaders. The program not only helped me complete a research project but also deepened my interest in AI and encouraged me to think more critically about the role of research in addressing real-world problems.
