I was very excited about trying the products, especially that it is a woman owned business. I ordered a starter pack. Sadly to say, the smell is terrible. Smells like something I would get from a dollar store in 1965. I mean, you could have developed your product to smell a bit better, especially if it is meant to kill bad odors and make you smell pleasant. Well, smell of your "fragrance" is more painful that natural body odor. Can't imagine my significant other enjoying my privates with that smell or smelling this deodorant under my armpits all day. I ordered "Peony rose" and it smells nothing like peonies or roses. Very disappointed. I really wanted to like it. UPDATE: Since Lume does not allow customer reviews on their site ( they only have rave reviews from unknown origin ), I went to Amazon to see how others reacted. Since Amazon is also populated by fake reviews, I always click on the start rating, so it shows what percentage of customers left 1,2,3,4 and 5 stars and I usually read the bad ones. WOW! Endless images of burned and inflamed crotches and armpits! And half of reviews spoke of the repugnant smell as well. Please look for yourself before you buy. There are plenty of nice smelling natural deodorants out there. And they don't burn your armpits or smell like kids vomit.

UPDATE: Product smells disgusting. When I contacted their customer service, they didn’t have the scents I wanted, so I chose other scents. The products have a really funky smell that’s almost worse than any bodily odor you might be trying to avoid! I placed an order about a month ago, and got an email a few days later telling me that “due to unprecedented demand, my order might take a little longer.” That’s fine, I wasn’t in a hurry. But as time wore on, I forgot about the order, and today I tried to track my order, but couldn’t. I contacted their customer service, which can only be reached by text. I went back through my emails, and found a refund through PayPal. I eventually found that that sometime after my order, they JUST CANCELED IT. Trying to deal with their customer service was downright frustrating, and eventually I got them to refund the entire first order so I could take advantage of the Black Friday sale. But I have zero confidence that I’ll receive anything or they’ll have it in stock. What an awful experience. Not recommended.

I've seen the commercials all over tv and social media so I decided to try it. Now let me say I'm already using a natural deodorant and it is doing me well. I thought I would try this brand since it was developed by a female doctor. Needless to say today was my first day trying it and what a fail. I live in south Florda so it's always hot. I don't mind sweating because i do with my previous deodorant. But today I was just stink. Needless to say I will stick with Each&Every. Question, why does the product have a metallic like smell to it? Or is it just me ?

So I work in the kitchen of a pizza restaurant and am covered in sweat most of the time. I don’t know that I smell badly but I assume that I do. No one has said I do. I decided to try this Lumé stuff. After spending a fortune and waiting an eternity for it, I certainly smell badly now. My girlfriend was the first to say something about how weird I smelled after using Lumé. What a waste of money. The gal in the TV commercial is shetchy. She presents herself as some kind of savior for a problem that she believes we all suffer from. The thing is, there is no problem for most women unless we don’t bathe. I guess I am an idiot for trusting her.

this smells like emulsified dead body created by the evil gill bates to help cull the brood. Not even joking- it's so foul that I have literally never in my life smelled a product such as this. As someone who has worked for several professional skin care product lines on a corporate level, I can tell you this product is trash, pushing its way through the misery of women's desire to not offend with probably hormonal changes in body odor as they sweat. That's totally normal, and women- I am telling you- embrace your smell- you smell nowhere near decaying body matter as this does. You smell fine, I promise. I understand ingredients well and I thought it was highly suspect they were not labeled on any website or 3 party seller. I can see why. Had I been able to review the label, as I normally do before purchase, I would know Nothing in there is therapeutic or of value, let alone the price structure. You are paying the packaging/inventory/distribution cost in mark up. There is no value in the ingredients- you might as well make your own on that merit. What is highly disturbing is that it is able to use ingredients that push the death funk into the skin deeper and actually deposit that smell onto you. It also gets onto your hands and keeps that smell on them, long after an OCD 25x a day handwashing to even get it off my hands. It does not remove. I can smell it if my hands even rest near my face while in a meeting, drinking water, or tea. It's nauseating. I am thinking of keeping my bottle to submit to see if it is not being truthful in labeling and that it could make people much worse- in case there is a class action lawsuit. I know it sounds petty but something is definitely afoul here. A horrendous product that is questionable fraud at best. The endless Amazon reviews seem bought for too, look at the lower star reviews- which are many- for the honest ones. Don't worry Lume, I didn't trust Amazon for cosmetics- I bought direct, so you are solely responsible.

Lume is effective it is pricey but it stinks like old gym socks. So I give it a 3. Work on the smell and maybe it would be worth it.

The product works great for me in spite of the initial smell as it comes out of the tube. Having had a double mastectomy I have some skin flaps under my arms that got irritated with just a small amount of sweat despite showering daily. Lume was the answer. However, the reason for the one star is that my second order was not correct. I sent an email and since then have only gotten automated answers and no resolution after asking for a refund twice. I paid with PayPal and will be contacting them to at least let them know about terrible customer service. I did get two items that were not correct...and asked Lume in two emails about sending them back and getting a refund. No answer and it is going on seven days with just "canned" automated replies. Amazon does offer Lume on their site and maybe that might be the way to go as they seem to be on top of things if something goes wrong with a seller. I have gotten good service from Amazon and a refund when they stepped in to help with me with an issue. Maybe with some research there might be another product available somewhere that works as good as Lume. Hope so as I won't be ordering from them again. Everyone should stay away from this company until they figure out how to actually run a product selling business that ships items to customers and provides good customer service.

I gave these guys 2 chances at ordering, and they blew it. My first order arrived late, and there is no way to track it until it reaches Canada, which took WEEKS. I liked the coconut deodorant, thought I would give another scent a try. I ordered Oct 23rd, and it supposedly shipped Oct 27th. I have reached out to them three times, and received no answer regarding no movement on tracking in 3 weeks. ( they say that if there is no movement after 7-10 days to email, and they would be happy to help.) Pretty unimpressed with their non existent customer service. I am moving to a new place in a few weeks, and am certain it will be delivered after I move out, if at all. At least I’m not alone in my complaint, as I see several.Instead of advertising on tv and social platforms constantly, Lume needs to focus on the customer. If you can’t handle the influx of orders, hire more people, and implement proper tracking from point A to point B.
