My sample order was cancelled without explanation. Then, after reaching out to customer service and asking to reordering (or a refund) I still never received anything (months later). Seemed like nobody from customer service has any urgency to help…

Material showed up damaged. Was told to use it anyway! Found a new supplier. They were happy to accept my 60k per year flooring expense!!! Cheers!!

Please spare yourself the headache and do not order from this company. This company does not take responsibility for any issues with the order and would waste your time to hear from the manufacturer rather than to take care of you first and deal with the manufacturing issues on their end. All the flooring i ordered came unfinished and after wasting 3 weeks of my time (in the middle of the construction) they said they finally heard from the manufacturer that they can pickup the wrong flooring and send me a new sample of a new batch. The sample came and it was again without the proper finish. Its been 4 weeks. i dont have any flooring and im still waiting to get my money back. They again are saying they have to hear from the manufacturer before issuing a refund! Buy from your local store not here. The little money you will save buying online would hunt you at the end.

Hi Niloofar, Thank you so much for your honest feedback! I am sorry to hear that your experience of Lumberjack has been so poor. We feel, we have done an absolutely phenomenal job of servicing your order. We are disappointed you do not feel the same. After you received your initial shipment without any issues at a great price, you had your installer open every box of flooring. Normally we not return opened boxes, however, you felt there was a manufacturing issue with the finish. Lumberjack Direct quickly filed a claim with the manufacturer who soon agreed to take back the unpackaged material, on one condition. That Lumberjack Direct had to pay for the return shipping. Which we did without hesitation or delay. Furthermore, the manufacturer then sent you a sample of a second batch of material from a different production date for your approval. They personally inspected to ensure there were no quality issues with the finish. This sample, also did not meet your expectations. Finally, the transitions which were made in an entirely different factory also did not meet your standards... There were 3 different hardwoods, with 3 different finishes, which you felt were all defective. Turns out, none of them had any manufacturing issues and nothing wrong with the finish whatsoever. Normally, since it was not deemed there was a manufacturer defect, the customer would be responsible for the restock fee and return shipping charges. None the less, Lumberjack Direct compensated your return shipping charges and also have waived all restock fee's... at no cost to you. If you ordered from a local dealer you would have received the same floor for more money without the exceptional customer service. Lumberjack Direct has gone above and beyond to service your project. I ordered 9 boxes of luxury vinyl plank. Two boxes arrived damaged and the Estes driver signed off they were delivered that way and gave me a number to have them replaced. However, when I called to have it replaced the lady said this is on Lumberjack Direct and that Estes does not cover damage. I called lumberjack direct and was told to send an email to them with photos which I did. They responded the photos need to be of the boards outside of the boxes so we opened them and took more photos. The response then from Jacob Kear was we need to try and use them. He said an installer needs to decline the boards. I AM THE INSTALLER! So here I am with 22% of my order damaged and no replacement because apparently someone else needs to tell them they won't work. I should also add both ends of the boards are damaged so they will need to be cut twice. *Update* After posting this review both boxes were replaced at no cost. *Update* The replacement boxes that were supposed to be sent never showed. After multiple emails regarding the status went unanswered my husband called and spoke with a gentleman in the warehouse who said they were shipping from CT and may be delayed. 5 minutes after that call I received an updated email saying these boxes were canceled. So I paid for 2 boxes of damaged products. I fully intend to report this company to better business bureau.

Megan, We are still awaiting your reply and would love to help! Often times there is exterior damage to the boxes but not internal damage to the flooring. If that is the case, however, cut away from the damages upon install and use those boards for starter or end rows as you will have to make cuts for a random unique pattern. If there are any boards that cannot be used during the installation process due to damages, please put to the the side and take pictures of each board, pile them up and count them. Email pictures to [email protected] start the claims process. Lumberjack will refund or replace any boards that cannot be used due to damages from the shipping process!
