I didn’t know what this company would be like but...
I am going to be honest as possible with this. I honestly don’t feel good if I pretend to like or hate something. It was one of my loved ones birthday and I wanted to give something geeky. I found this site on Etsy, but didn’t hear too much about the company. So I was afraid that these amazing jackets were too good to be true. I decided to take the risk after looking up the very few YouTube videos of it (which didn’t tell much besides maybe one review by “Mah-Dry-Bread”) — and I am glad I did! People should definitely review more of these jackets. I am not much of a blogger and definitely not an influencer. However I hope this review of mines does get people’s interest to spark. Because I was shaky whether I should trust this company or not. Spoiler Alert: I had a mostly excellent experience! Not only the gift I gave was loved, but I received good services. The person who I messaged in this company was very patient with me as I was figuring the perfect sizes (it was a surprise birthday gift and I had limited information with the person I was giving to). I was told that the sizes here are smaller than the US sizes. ***So be sure to keep in mind that you should size up when ordering these jackets.*** I find it useful to have the measurements like your chest, waist, and sleeves in handy no matter what the clothing company. A size XL for ModCloth might be different than XL for H&M for an example. You always should look at the actual measurements if shown and this is especially important because these are not US sizes. But that is my personal tip honestly. Also I did had trouble with knowing when it was shipped. I saw nothing was shipped and it had been over a week. So this is where my “bad” experience came in. However I just messaged the company back again and he said he would check. I was a little worried (due to me again not knowing this company very much) but everything got solved — and it got delivered sooner than i thought. Now if you want to know the jacket itself, I got the Akira jacket and I chose the vegan leather option. I will go based on whom I gave to. Only because it isn’t me who owns it. But he said awesome things like the jacket being beautiful, feels like leather, and a dream came true!! So I did good! Yay! It is the right size so thank goodness for that (remember: this was a surprise gift). My loved one felt very satisfied and happy with his gift. So I felt happy too and relieved that this wasn’t a bad purchase at all! This is my attraction to this company. I love how some jackets looks good for cosplays and yet, also looks normal enough for everyday life. I might not know much about the other jackets, but my personal purchase looks really cool and perfect. You can tell it is from Akira but it is comfortable enough to be your normal geek self. I hate to say this, haha...but I stressed out for nothing. I took a risk and I think it was a worth it with my purchase! :)
