If you are struggling in your intimate relationship, look no further! I am doing the course alone (partner is not motivated) and we are experiencing great results! Negative patterns can be changed by ONE person. Positive changes can be implemented by ONE person. If YOU change, everything changes... although, I personally wouldn't put up with abuse or infidelity. Our struggles were more of negative attitudes and negative ways of responding that were taking the relationship in a really bad direction. Bruce brings a LOT of the best (and science-backed) resources together. I've studied most of what he teaches, but he does it in a systematic way that is more helpful than learning it piecemeal. Learning to connect before you communicate is brilliant!

I had an issue I was afraid to bring up to my husband, as I had tried to bring it up in the past, and it always caused him to respond with anger/aggression. It was about differing views of how to raise our son. So I was not talking about it, but did what I felt right behind his back, which I didn't like doing. I wanted to tell the truth. I thought I would have to wait to admit this to him until my dying bed (or his). After connecting with him first, I slowly built up the courage to bring it up in a reflective conversation, and he didn't get aggressive. He understood me and didn't react negatively. Later, he admitted that he was unhappy to find out, but we're working on it to resolve the issue so that we're both satisfied.
