Good parts, terrible customer service. I've ordered thousands of dollars of parts through them and recently ordered a seat cover while on sell, when it came in it was for the wrong year. They will only refund once I ship it back (which is understandable) but they won't give me the sale price on replacement one.
*edit* they did reach out and make it right...ish, so I changed it

LMC has cheap Chinese parts and…
LMC has cheap Chinese parts and customer service has no desire to satisfy customers. They say they care but that’s about as far as it goes.
After writing this review LCM promptly took care of my issue. I wish it didn’t take a bad review to get results but I appreciate their efforts to make things write. Gives me faith in their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Thank you for your feedback. The item in question was ordered incorrectly and was not returned, which is required for a refund per our policy. That said, as a courtesy, we will be issuing you a gift card for $31.90 to help resolve the situation.
We appreciate the opportunity to clarify and value all customer feedback.

Body parts don't fit.... etc
I agree with previous reviews that body panels and parts don't fit. I have purchased front fenders and both box side panels for my 84 squarebody. The front fender body lines don't even come close to matching original. Where the door post meets the fender the curve is at least 3/4" of an inch off on the passenger side and the line on the driver's side is almost opposite of what it should be. The fenders are the best fitting parts I have purchased. The box sides are worse. I bought the driver's side about a year ago. It sat around in the box until a couple of months ago when I finally got around to fixing the box. The passenger bedside was purchased a month or two ago. So, I started with light sanding and to repair a couple of of small dings in the panels. Not a huge deal as it was minor and easy to fix. I sprayed a couple of coats of epoxy primer and went to attach them to the box. Initially, the drivers side didn't fit the floor and some holes needed to be enlarged. Got it bolted on and went to the other side. It bolted on OK except for the wheel we'll holes needed to be enlarged. Tried to install the tail lights and they wouldn’t seat in the holes. Ended up bending and reshaping the inner housing on the passenger side and had to cut out parts of the housing on the drivers side. They still don't fit well but are workable. When I tried to fit my tailgate the real trouble started. Drivers side had a gap of 3/4" at the top and rubbed at the bottom. I have removed the panel twice and enlarged bolt holes and I made a little progress but not much. Also, when the tailgate is closed and seated against the box without the rubber stops on it the tailgate sticks out about 3/16" from the box side. It also sits to low where it attaches to the floor. The tailgate sits higher than the bedside. Not enough room to make those holes any larger Conclusion... the box side is to short and it can't be manipulated any further. I have had most of the same issues others have had. Slow shipping, wrong quantities, wrong part altogether. Those were not deal breakers but the body parts problem seals the deal. I'm not sure what I can do now besides warn others. Buyer beware!
Update;
One day after this review I received a call from Michael at LMC truck. He asked a few questions and offered to send me a replacement driver's side bed panel. They had switched suppliers since my order and thought the new panel might work better for me He asked me to send some pictures of the issues I had. I did send the pictures but I was a little slow and the new bedside arrived before I even sent the pictures. The replacement panel fits much better. I still had to make some of the bolt holes larger , especially around the wheel wells. That being said, the problems I encountered with the new bedside were fairly easy to overcome and I am much happier with the replacement. Honestly, I don't know of many auto parts companies who would provide this kind of customer service. I should add that most of the interactions I have had with LMC customer service have been good, Don't ask any technical questions and you'll be good. Most of the online suppliers you can't even talk to a live person. You get a single email basically saying sorry, you're SOL. I'm raising the rating for LMC to a 4 because this was a big deal for me but the other issues, especially the slow shipping, persist.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about the challenges you've experienced with your restoration project. What you’ve described is certainly not the experience we strive to provide.
We do want to note that we were not contacted regarding any of these fitment concerns at the time the parts were received or installed. Because of that, we were not given the opportunity to assist with troubleshooting, offer replacement options, or work toward a resolution. We stand behind our products and have a dedicated team available to help with any issues, but we can only help when we are made aware that something isn’t right.
While aftermarket panels may sometimes require adjustments during installation, excessive modifications should never be the norm. We would like to review your specific order and work with you to see what can be done at this point.
Please reach out to us directly at [email protected] or 800-562-8782 with your order number.
We truly value your business and would appreciate the opportunity to make this right.

There when I need a part and advice ...
I have ordered several times parts for 1986 K20 suburban. Nearly 90% of time all parts received are in great shape and order is complete. The other 10% is to expect delays or shortages --- no big deal. Where else are you going to get parts for old trucks, especially small items. I rely on LMC to supply parts, even if I have to wait for backorders. Thanks

bad weather strips
I've ordered a hole set of blazer parts on the blazer/jimmy page and ended up with suburban parts, don't know how that happened.
I don't want a refund I want the proper part please which is 38-6971 and 38-6972 inner and outer blazer tailgate weather strips.
I appreciate the speedy replies, I wonder why I wasn't told those were suburban parts on the email and only got this reply here.
Response from LMC TruckFeb 6, 2024
Fahad, thank you for taking the time to reach out. We are showing the part ordered is listed to fit a Suburban, not a K5 Blazer. Part 38-6979 is listed to fit Suburban 1973-1991, this is the part you emailed us about and was ordered online. We will be refunding you for the part. Please allow 2-4 business days for the refund to process back to the original form of payment.

WHAT A JOKE....but they made it right
UPDATE: I called back the day after the review & was finally able to speak with someone who is an actual "boss". She seemed genuinely appalled at the story as she listened. She confirmed that 2 of the people I spoke with were "supervisors" and that I was told a bunch of things that were not true. She then got off the phone to immediately listen to the recorded phone calls that I had placed days earlier, promising to get back to me by the days end. She DID return my call & honestly, did not make excuses. She admitted that the people I spoke with were wrong all the way around & she was suprised that I kept my cool & wasn't rude (even tho I had every right to be). She assured me that additional training would be happening & that certain things were going to be handled internally, as they were COMPLETELY unacceptable, especially by long time employees in a higher position. I was finally given the info I had called abput in the 1st place (when my frieght was going to be delivered) and a gift certificate was sent to my home, for the trouble.
I have now received all my parts & the freight pieces arrived perfect. Everything was amazingly well packed and protected, much to my suprise. I will give LMC another shot, as they really seemed to want to remedy the issues & took me seriously with the problems I had.
WHAT A JOKE! We ordered about $1700 on parts on Dec 31 2023. Was contacted on Jan 2nd to verify that we had made the order before it was released & our debit charged. NO BIG DEAL. It was all handled very quickly & was told that the order was released immediately. Got a tracking # and received 2 boxes from FedEx on Monday, Jan 8 2024. It was 4 door hinges & a
rollpan.
We were expecting freight....we ordered 2 doors, 2 fenders, a cowl hood, 2 inner fender wells (+ the hinges and rollpan).
So Tuesday, Jan 9th I called to see what is going on. First I was told that orders take 24-48 hours to ship after being released....again, no biggie. It had been 2 1/2 working days SINCE the 48hrs after the order was released on Jan 2nd. When is it shipping out?
Then I was told the order had been processed, but it was "on a truck". Okay...if its "on a truck", what is the tracking # for my shipment? I was told they don't have that. Okay
...who is transporting the freight? They don't know.
So how do you know its "on the truck" if you dont have a tracking # or know who is delivering it?? Then I was told it would be going out today or tomorrow, she was sure of it.
Wednesday Jan 10 2024. I waited until later in the afternoon to call AGAIN to check on my order. Once again...I got the same BS run around as yesterday. They didn't have a tracking #. Its "on a truck", yet couldn't tell me which one. THEN proceeds to tell me that my order gets placed on a truck when its processed and they have to wait until the truck is full before it gets picked up by Saia and shipped out. THEN at that point the driver scans all the items in the truck and they get a tracking #. So I confirmed that if I order 1 fender that gets loaded "on the truck" I have to wait for the truck to be full and then that company DRIVER has to climb over ALL the rest of the orders that are now filling the truck (who knows how long that could take), to scan in my 1 fender so I can get a tracking # or estimated delivery date??
Lol- she said YES.
I laughed and asked if she thought I believed that. I said funny....I haven't had this issue with any of your other competitors I deal with. And I order car bodies, full A body floor pans, hoods, fenders, suspension systems. I am a restoration shop.
I asked if there was anyone I could talk with in shipping/receiving....and I was told there was no phones there.
So I asked how corporate contacts the warehouse & communicates with the staff there. I was told there was no phones or bosses to talk to there & everything is thru email.
So absolutely NOTHING was resolved except that LMC is a joke, their customer service agents AND the "boss" I talked to don't tell the truth & think we don't understand how freight shipping works.
We run a auto resto shop, plus are restoring 2 of our personal C10's at the same time. Just had a customer leave with their finished K5 today, as a matter of fact. But now we have another customer pissed at US, we are losing our scheduled slot for the upholstery shop, because we don't have a time of delivery on the new sheetmetal from LMC. You know....the order that was made 11 days ago (they sure took the $$ quick tho) I received the portion that was sent FedEx 4 days ago.
But STILL cannot get a ETA for the 900mi our parts have to travel from Kansas to FL.
This very well may be the last time we EVER try to work with LMC....there other options that treat their customers better & don't lie to us...like we don't know the difference.

Still Waiting for the order to ship!!!!!!
I ordered a reasonable number of parts for my 94 chevy 1500 on the 16th of February 2023. It is now the 22 of February and Taysia D had this to say:
"Processing of all orders can take 24-72 business hours prior to leaving our facility, the parts are in stock." Meanwhile, all of my other parts (different vendors) have arrived. I didn't expect for these items to get here quick, but an entire week is a little excessive.😒
Updarte:
All parts arrived this past weekend in one piece. They may have been bad on the communication but when the parts all show up and are correct, I call that a win.
Thank You LMC Truck
