Used to order almost all my 60-66 Chevy parts through LMC, but no more. Their shipping rates are high and shipping is slow. I now buy from Summit and other vendors with free shipping. Just bought a part from LMC and they charged my almost $20 in freight for a $60 small item and sent it by USPS. SLOW and unreliable. No more!

Before I placed an order with them, I had tried to get in contact about the item before I bought it. I asked if it was the correct part as it said I needed 2 of them, but on my truck they weren't symmetrical. They treated me like a complete moron and told me that if the website says it's what I need, that's what I need. After I received the items, they of course didn't match. They make you pay for the return shipping, and they refund you only the price of the items. You will not get the original shipping and you will also be charged a restocking fee for unopened and unused items. I ended up ordering a different model and they fit perfectly, but now I am out $30 for receiving the wrong item and unfortunately LMC was the only company who had it.

LMC is good at finding everything you need for the most part ordering and making sure you have everything is difficult. When you have over 30 parts in shopping cart ordered and you have to go by name instead of picture gets difficult. Don't see why they dont have a system like rock auto. much more friendlier to order parts from rock auto oh and cheaper too!

I will start off saying I understand a lot of their parts are manufactured over seas. I'm unsure if it was quality control or error. I ordered the Weather Strip on Cab for 87-96 F150 and the part I received was way larger than the original. Once put on the cab the door would not close. Doubled checked and everything. Then I compared the original to the replacement. The replacement is way larger. The trouble with this, is it was not my fault. Correct Part on the list. I have to pay to ship it back. I can't send back the one I put on the cab. So 59.90 minus 29.95 then minus shipping 15.00 dollars. leaves me with 15 dollars. That's basically 45 dollars I lost that was not my fault. Thankfully that's not what others have been loosing. Seems like the website should have reviews so others can see what parts don't fit. So hopefully this helps someone.

Ordered online from Germany a Tonneau cover . They send it but it comes without clamps Can´t get this type of clamps in Germany after asking for help they told me i have to ask the Company where the cover is build. VERY BAD SERVICE NEVER EVER AGAIN Michael from Germany

Well I had good customer service when calling in over the counter orders and picking parts up. Ordering over the internet worked good until you get a wrong part. Then you have a 45 minute wait to get to talk to someone which I can deal with. What gets me is quality control over the parts that they sell you must be nonexistent. I’m completely restoring a 1985 k5 blazer frame off. Stockpiled parts and when I got to the new body panels it turned bad. Body lines that looked like snakes because panel edges were not square. Grille trim wouldn’t fit right because the fenders to radiator support bolt holes were off. Then all the grille bright work was cheap and flimsy with crap fasteners. None of grille trim was formed the same and looks bad. So unless your restoring a farm truck that doesn’t matter how it looks, I would look elsewhere. Your gonna spend more money fixing new parts and getting them to fit correctly or flat out pitching them in the junk pile just to put used parts back on.

i will start off saying that I had spent thousands upon thousands of dollars with lmc doing a frame off restoration on my 1982 chevy k10. I ordered most of the parts that I need while I was deployed over in the middle east for 8 months looking forward to getting back and working on my truck, upon my return I quickly started tearing the truck apart and cleaning it up. my problems started when I was looking throw some of the boxes for parts I needed that the slips said were shipped in them upon searching I discovered that about 10 things I ordered had never came as they said they had so I called lmc up to get this fixed upoin telling the lady what I was missing she told me there was no way that none of that stuff had came and that I must have misplaced it and I told her nicely that I had just got back from overseas a week ago and just opened them and then she brought up the time frame of when I placed the order and I again told her that I had just gotten back from a deployment for the military that was 8 months long needless to say so I don't go on forever I had to listen to her tell me it was my fault that the parts I ordered were missing and she did not believe me that I had not received them so I pressed on found out the doors I ordered in no way shape or form fit the lines were not correct and just a complete mess I threw the doors out and the core support I bought that was made out tin and bought oem rust free ones from down in southern states I will never order from them again parts never fit right have dents in them when they arrive and they think that is fine and normal poor company to buy from and the way they treat costumers is terrible

its a crapshoot!!!! on the most part i have had good luck with lmc. just recently though, 4/2/20, i just had a terrible experience. i was sent a damaged hood for an 87 chevy truck. to make a long story very short, i had sent several pics of the damaged (buckle) in the center of the hood.after speaking to several associates they determined it was "normal scratches and dings"!!! not only would they NOT exchange it but they wanted me to pay for for return shipping!!!! I will never do business with lmc again! just for reference, i have been in autobody repair and restoration for 45 years.
