I have looked for sometime for a watch which a lume dial I have looked at their website and settled on the gravel 1fully lume but when I received this watch (late) I was disappointed because it turned out that the photos on their site showing night and day was nothing like the watch I revived at night it was a blur if you were lucky no lume at all the photos on their site showing night and day have been photoshopped
This matter is now in the hands of PayPal in their resolution centre
LIV have not responded to their request for information
LIV have offered me my purchase price back if returned in a unused condition according to their policy but as I have worn this watch a couple of times I would not trust them to honour this
So beware the information on their website is not a true representative of the product
I am awaiting to see what response they give PayPal as I hate wasting £760 on a product that is not as discibed

First off
First off, LIV still operates as if they are a kickstarter company. Pre-ordered watch on 4/30/25 with expected delivery week of 5/19/25. There has been no self-initialized communication from anyone at LIV with status from day one. Initially I was promised that the delivery window was in track for original dates. I have always had to initiate communication. On 6/10/25 i contacted them again since the revised delivery window had passed. I received apologies with a promise that my watch would be overnighted with expected delivery on 6/12/25. Granted this communication from them was at 3:24pm 6/10/25. I received communication from USPS this morning advising a package will be received on 6/14/25 (not overnight). Details of package show that a label was created at 10:21am on 6/10/25. I don’t care at this point how nice watch may look and operate or about all their positive reviews on Google and online media platforms (they also delete any negative reviews on social media), I’m returning due to poor business practices and unkept promises. For a company that has been in business since 2014 with the launch of their first watch, why only 250 reviews? Suspect to me! I don’t want to do business with a company that lies and is obviously running on a shoe-string budget. Just look at their daily operating hours. Maybe they should change to more than 6 hour work days like majority of businesses in the US.

Tried but failed to buy a LIV watch
I tried my hardest to buy a Liv watch having been invited to request a UK military discount code by one of their marketing emails. Enthusiastically I sent them three emails over a couple of weeks but received no response from them despite their invitation to request a code and subsequent plethora of marketing emails. Sadly I will take my business elsewhere. Terrible communication (lack of) unfortunately.

Do not waste your money on a LIV watch
Do not waste your money on a LIV watch. Their warranty is garbage. They do not stand behind their product. I washed my hands splashing a little water on the watch. The crown was tight. Water damage occurred they wanted full payment to repair despite being less than one year old. They may look good at first but you're on your own. I had the GX-1.

Crown design is inferior
Crown design is inferior. No triple lock mechanism and the gasket design literally deems the watch a write off if it is open when showering. Really disappointing for a ‘dive’ watch that this hasn’t been improved
Response from LIV WatchesSep 19, 2023
Hi Rochelle, I recall our conversation regarding not fully closing the crown while swimming. This is a rule of thumb for all watches, regardless of the crown engineering. A triple lock mechanism would be excessive for our GX1 since it is not a dive watch. It does, however, feature a screw-down and gasketed crown with 200m of water resistance, which is more than suitable for daily water applications. While it's an unfortunate situation, we do provide ample warnings about leaving the crown open on our website, in the manual, in follow-up emails, and as a dedicated insert in our packaging. With that said, we get absolutely gutted when our fans aren't 100% happy. We offered a remedy via email on September 5th but have not heard back since. Please have a look and let us know. Best wishes to you and your husband.

Wanting More!!!!!!!
I am a watch enthusiast and a collector as well.I always like to add new and exciting brands to my collection.I found Liv watches website online and viewed their very unique line of watches. I researched their Co. very extensively.Honestly, I was quite impressed with the quality and design of these timepieces, refreshing to see in these times.Swiss made watches at such bargain prices, a big bonus.I ordered the GX-1A after contemplating which one I should get. The LIV Team supported me every step of the process. When I promptly received my watch, I was ecstatic at such an innovative and quality type timepiece. I want to thank Chaz,Esti and the whole LIV Team for creating such a brand.Anxiously waiting for my next purchase.

Poor aftercare, expensive learning curve.
It's true, the LIV watches are a desireable price considering the retail cost of a 7750 movement, sapphire glass, titanium strap, ceramic bezel all bundled together for less than £1500.
BUT, if you are in the UK and receive a faulty/damaged/unfit for purpose watch, LIV fully expect the UK buyer to pay for return shipping and insurance (£130) if you request a refund as opossed to an exchange/replacement.
My first watch from them would stop every night after wearing all day, and not run for the claimed 40hours it's marketed at. This means every morning I would have to wind the £900+ watch and reset the time.
I had to pay for a return to the US in order request a refund. I am out of pocket now by a couple of hundred quid for the inital VAT and import taxes paid to receive the watch, in addition to paying for the return because it was faulty.
Following the return of this I ordered a different model (the highest priced flagship on LIV's website), and it arrived with something stuck to the glass on the inner side of the watch!
I've requested a refund but they won't accept liability and pay for the return fees. They have offered me an exchange with an offer of shipping (percentage of) ofset against a replacement, but I want my money back, and I'll be avoiding the brand unless they lauch a local UK stockist I can walk into and be served face to face.
To summarise: It's cost me money to have two faulty watches sent out to me and return them to LIV. One was faulty through no fault of anyone, but the second was sent out with a manufactuer defect that should have been picked up by LIV prior to despatch. LIV refuse to pay for return shipping regardless.
I'm out of pocket, and will have no watches to show for this and a sour experience as a result.
I will never risk buying from LIV again, they assume no accountability and believe it is fair for the buyer to suffer costs to receive unfit for purpose goods. It is not their company policy to reimburse international postage even if they've sent out a watch that's sub-standard.
I'm happy to evidence my experience with anyone that requires reassurance. The watches are nice, the purchase is a gamble. UK consumer rights offer greater protection, buy British (or at least buy goods that have already landed here where you have only the price on the tag to pay)!
NB After raising my concerns more than once LIV have emailed me a pre-paid returns label. My reviews on the company website however have not been published. I have the start of the result a buyer should be offered, hopefully it'll be smooth sailing......
