I wrote the language test a year ago unfortunately I got 19 while the pass rate has to be 21 onwards, to my surprise I logged in just today 22 Oct 2026 but then I couldn't take the test again it is still stuck on 2025. Can it not update or we can no longer take the tests when we fail for the first time?

Passed test 2 months ago – Still on hold with ZERO response from support
I successfully cleared the application test back on July 24, 2026. After passing, I received a message stating that access would be granted as soon as orders become available.
However, it has been nearly two months now, and my account is still stuck on hold. To make matters worse, I sent a follow-up email to their support team asking for an update on my account activation, but I haven't received any reply or resolution at all.
Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication, transparency, and support for approved applicants. If hiring is completely frozen, applicants deserve clear timelines and responsive support instead of total silence.

Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in joining our platform.
Please note that the volume of available orders varies depending on the season. In an effort to ensure that all newly onboarded freelancers have access to a stable workload and a sufficient number of tasks, we have temporarily slowed down our hiring process.
We will notify you via email as soon as recruitment resumes, and applications will be processed based on the current waiting list.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.

I applied for a position at Livingston…
I applied for a position at Livingston Research and was told that I would receive a response within 3–5 business days. That timeframe has passed, and I still haven’t received any update regarding my application.
I also sent a follow-up email, but unfortunately, I haven’t received a response to that either.
I understand that hiring processes can take time, but a simple update or acknowledgment would have been appreciated
Response from Livingston ResearchAug 15, 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the delay and the lack of an earlier update.
Due to the unusually high volume of applications we are currently receiving, our recruitment team needs an additional 2–3 business days to complete the review of your application. We understand that you were initially advised to expect a response within 3–5 business days, and we appreciate your patience while the team works through the increased number of applications.
Thank you for your interest in joining Livingston Research and for bearing with us. We will make sure your application is reviewed as soon as possible.

Ready for account activation
I had registered an account in May last year and passed the initial testing.
Over the past year, I’ve stayed sharp by perfecting my academic work across key disciplines, including advanced mathematics and clinical nursing case studies, and I have emailed two fresh sample files directly to the team.
Since standard email responses are usually automated, I’m leaving this review to ask if a recruiter could take a quick look at my updated sample files on record. I am fully prepared to take on tasks and look forward to getting activated!

Respected Sir/Mam,
Respected Sir/Mam,
I am Sujan Poudel from Nepal.
I have completed my registration at Livingston Research as a freelancer on 11 May. But still I am on waiting list. I need this job because I have to look after my family. Please help me to get it.
Still I am faithful.
Thank you.

Dear Sujan,
Thank you for your patience and for sharing your situation with us. We truly appreciate your interest in joining Livingston Research and understand how important this opportunity is for you.
At the moment, our hiring process is temporarily on hold due to circumstances beyond our control. Unfortunately, we are unable to move individual applications forward while recruitment is paused. Once hiring resumes, applications will continue to be reviewed according to the waiting list.
Please be assured that your application remains in our system. As soon as there is an update regarding your application, you will receive an email from us.
Thank you again for your understanding and continued trust.

Fair update on my pending application
Hi, revising my score to be fair to the Livingston Research team following their response below.
My original concern was being stuck on the waiting list for over a year. However, I was glad to receive their response clarifying how recruitment works based on seasonal client demand.
While I am still waiting for an open slot, I appreciate them confirming my application remains active on file and not forgotten. I'll be checking my inbox for updates when the next cohort opens up. Thanks!
Response from Livingston ResearchJul 20, 2026
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for sharing your experience so openly.
We are sorry that our previous responses felt repetitive and impersonal. At present, the recruitment process remains temporarily on hold due to circumstances beyond our control. Your application is still retained on the waiting list, and the delay does not mean that your effort or successful test results have been disregarded.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide an exact date for when hiring will resume. Once recruitment restarts, applications will continue to be considered according to the waiting list, and you will receive an email as soon as there is a meaningful update regarding your application.
We sincerely appreciate the time, effort, and patience you have invested, and we regret that we cannot provide a more concrete outcome at this stage.

Update: Still waiting after the promised autumn window
I recently completed my registration with Livingston Research and submitted my test task for Physics and Engineering (specifically Task 3: Hydrostatics), which I was thrilled to hear was successful! I am incredibly eager to get started and bring my skills to the platform.
However, I’ve hit a bit of a roadblock with the communication. I reached out twice to the recruiting team to ask two basic operational questions—specifically regarding whether the platform uses a bidding or direct-assignment model, and if there is flexibility to take tasks across different disciplines once onboarded. Unfortunately, both responses I received felt like automated templates that completely bypassed my questions to just repeat that I am on a waiting list.
I understand that there is currently a high volume of applicants and a temporary slowdown in hiring, which is completely fair. That said, as a highly motivated applicant, I was just hoping to get a genuine human answer to those quick platform mechanics questions so I can be fully prepared the moment onboarding resumes.
I really look forward to working together and would love to upgrade this to a 5-star review as soon as I can connect with someone from the team to clear these questions up! Thank you.
"Edit: The team reached out directly with an excellent, detailed response that cleared up all my questions. Moving to 5 stars for the great resolution!"

Update (September 2026):
In that June response, the team mentioned the next hiring campaign would likely align with the October to December high season. With that window now just about to begin, I checked back in to see where my application stood. Instead of any real update, I received the same generic waiting-list reply I'd already moved past months earlier. Hoping for a clearer answer, I also reached out to Livingston Research's Support address directly. A real person did reply, but only to say this was outside their scope and to contact the same recruiting inbox again. So as the season they pointed to approaches, I'm still on the waiting list, with no timeline, and no real sign that June's resolution meant much beyond that one email.
Response from Livingston ResearchJun 24, 2026
Thank you for your feedback, and please accept our apologies that our previous replies did not address your questions properly.
We have now contacted you directly via email with a detailed clarification regarding how orders are selected on the platform and whether freelancers can work across different disciplines. We appreciate your enthusiasm and are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the earlier communication.

A+ Account Suddenly Disabled Without Warning or Justification
If there were a way to give negative stars, I would.
I had an A+ level account with Livingston Research that was fully verified and approved. Everything was in order, with no warnings, no negative reviews, and no issues whatsoever. Out of nowhere, my account was disabled citing “suspicious activity.”
This is completely unjustified. There was nothing suspicious about my activity, I followed all their rules and had built up a strong account status. The lack of any prior communication, warning, or opportunity to appeal or explain makes this even more frustrating.
Support and care team has been unhelpful, and I still have no clear answers on why this happened. After investing time and effort into reaching A+ status, having the account disabled arbitrarily feels unfair and unprofessional.
I strongly advise others to think twice before committing to Livingston Research. If they can disable a verified, high-level account without reason or notice, you risk the same treatment. Very disappointed and would not recommend them at all.
