Bought a sectional back in 2023 with our new home, got the care free plan as the sales rep said they would replace any damaged parts even replace the couch. Fast forward to last week I sit down and the couch almost bottoms out. I look underneath and there’s a fabric rip and the springs have gone out. I’m only 5’10” 185lbs. You can’t sit on that spot annymore and it’s right in the middle of the sectional. I submit my claim to their warranty and it was denied because it was “continuous damage” which they don’t cover. Imagine using your couch and it fails and then the warranty they sold you on that they said covers said damage doesn’t actually cover damage. Furniture is cheap, warranty is a scam I would give them a 0 out of ten if I could.

Do not fall for Living Spaces warranty upsell
Do not fall for Living Spaces' "warranty upsell" — it's a scam backed by zero accountability.
We spent thousands on a leather sectional from Living Spaces, and during checkout, they strongly pushed the 5-year “Care Free Furniture Protection Plan,” claiming it would give us peace of mind if anything happened. Fast-forward: a single cushion ripped — the only damage on an otherwise perfect couch — and the warranty company (UNITERS / Palladio/Tarmo LLC) denied our claim, calling it “normal wear and tear.”
When we asked Living Spaces for help (since THEY sold us the warranty), they completely washed their hands of it. Their customer service (Paul, supervisor @ guest services) literally said, "There's nothing we can do" and just pointed us back to the unresponsive warranty provider. No follow-up. No advocacy. No ownership.
Why is Living Spaces pushing a warranty they have no intention of standing behind?
They upsell the plan at the register like it’s a surefire safety net
They distance themselves the moment something goes wrong
They refuse to help even when the warranty company ignores repeated outreach
This is beyond disappointing — it’s deceptive. If Living Spaces profits from selling these third-party plans, they should take some responsibility when things go sideways.
Lesson learned: Living Spaces is happy to take your money but will leave you stranded when support actually matters. We’ll never buy from them again — and if you’re considering that “protection plan,” run the other direction.

This is a terrible company
This is a terrible company. I ordered a rug that wasn’t cheap. It turned out to be extremely poor quality and had defective stitching. You could see the backing on most of the edging due to improper stitching. After repeated calls to customer service and me sending pictures, they told me I’d have to pay to have it shipped back to them whether it was defective or not. Unbelievable. Do not buy anything from this company. The return shipping cost me $143. The quality of the 8’ round rug I ordered was the worst I’ve ever seen and it costs $416 plus tax.

I purchased a couch at living spaces in…
I purchased a couch at living spaces in 2023. decided to get a fabric couch and get a warranty. After a year and a half one of the recliners fabric started to fray. I would not consider this normal wear and tear. but decided to file for warranty coverage and was declined. After reading terms and conditions the coverage literary covers nothing. Do not waste your money in this store.

This company relies on deceit and ommission...
This company relies on deceptive business practices and omission of facts to get you to pay more than you should. We should have looked at the plentiful reviews from hoards of dissatisfied people before we went in. Now we're getting the run-around with their customer service, filing a formal complaint, and disputing charges with our credit card company.
Our Experience:
We came into Living Spaces in Irvine on Technology Drive ready to purchase a new couch. Unfortunately, our experience with salesperson David and Sylvia (manager), and everyone within their so-called "customer service dept" has left us beyond dissatisfied.
We purchased a couch at 8:37 PM, only to discover early the next day, that a better configuration was available that would have saved us nearly $1,000--but the option was never shown to us. We immediately called (less than 24 hours later) to make the change and were told that the changes could not be made and that our purchase was final immediately following the transaction, as it happened after the 8:00 PM deadline. We were never told of this 8:00 PM deadline while we were making the purchase. We were surprised when Sylvia, the manager, told us that there was nothing she could do to help remedy the situation despite acknowledging that her salesperson omitted the more affordable option. She offered to return the couch for a 25% restocking fee which would end up costing us nearly the same amount as the money we would have saved with the less expensive option. She was comfortable letting us walk away knowing that her salesperson's mistake cost us nearly $1,000.
We asked to have the matter escalated and were provided a phone number to their customer service or complaint dept. We promptly called and were told someone would reach out. Customer service basically said (in-writing) exactly what the store manager said - "...we're sorry that our salesperson didn't tell you about the cheaper option...but you're only option is still to cancel and lose nearly $1,000...or keep the couch we forced you into overpaying for...". I'm paraphrasing, but that's basically their response.
BOTTOM LINE: If a company or anyone within a company makes a mistake (or worse), that company should find a reasonable accommodation for their customer IF they were interested in taking care of their customer.
Living Spaces Furniture is NOT interested in taking care of their customers. The voice and feedback of a massive # of reviews at less-than-50% satisfaction rating is all you need to know.
Tread carefully when shopping here. Better yet, go support a smaller, local shop that values you and your business.

Terrible Customer Service
if I could rate 0 stars, I would. I went in on the holiday weekend to buy a couch I had found online. it was the Araceli sectional in faux leather, taupe color. The sales rep was polite enough, but definitely didn’t want to be there. and I was sitting on the material I wanted to order. So that went smoothly, I thought.
Then, delivery day came. I got rid of my old couch to make room for the new one, got everything set up, and it gets there, and it’s the wrong material. right couch, right configuration, opposite material. it was fabric. So I refused delivery. I called the customer service number to let them know the situation, and THEY COULDN'T HELP OVER THE PHONE.
I had to drop everything and go to the store to get help. But then they couldn’t process the exchange until the wrong couch got received at the warehouse. They said they would call me the following day to order and schedule delivery.
The following day comes and they call in the morning, order and confirm the furniture, and schedule for 2 pieces to be delivered that evening, and the 3rd to be delivered from a different warehouse in a few days. That was fine with me. I was told nothing else needed to be done on my end.
SEVERAL hours later, they called and asked why I hadn’t submitted the payment for the couch. I told them that I had financed it through synchrony, so no payment should be due. I was then informed that I needed to use my synchrony card to pay the new balance (which was the exact same cost as the original order). Problem is, I don’t have a card because it was a newly created account.
So they told me they needed to re-process the synchrony application. They apparently can’t do that over the phone either. I was told I needed to come in to give them my ID. But at this point I’m on vacation out of state. So they canceled this order too.
So I go online to order it and apply for financing online. But the delivery date magically changed, with the earliest being listed as 4 weeks from that date.
I called to find out how I couldn't get a closer date, as I was told it was in stock in the warehouse.
Magically, it is now out of stock (the representative on the phone assumed). I asked for her to look, and she told me she couldn’t without the SKU number, which I didn’t have.
Every person I spoke to on the phone was dismissive, rude, and unwilling to transfer to someone else when I requested. They are unable to help with the most simple things on the phone, always telling you to go to the store. But none of the store locations have a phone number listed either.
Needless to say, their promise of easy delivery is DEFINITELY not true, and I will be couch-less for 4 weeks.

Honestly the y are keeping my money…
Honestly the y are keeping my money because they said that the pillow I bought was used. What a joke. The pillow was designed like rolling up a blanket and putting it in a pillowcase. I never used it because I knew it was tooo hard for me. I spent money to return it and they said that it did not qualify for a refund or exchange. I agreed to an exchange reluctantly because they told me that I had to pay 30% restocking fee and cost to ship. Bull. But I’ll check in again later to see if this small company is still in business. I can’t see how they can steal from people like this . I told them to send my unexceptionable purchase back to me. I doubt they will.im not done with this company yet… LOL. Please don’t wast your money. Nancy Aumell Fraser. 772-359-7538. … feel free to contact me

I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t…
I only gave 1 star because I couldn’t give a zero. We ordered a massive 500lb patio table made of rock with a large slab and two legs (pillars) back in April. The delivery was delayed over 2.5 months and we just got it delivered last weekend. To our shock, only 1 of the 2 legs were delivered with the slab. We called and were told the missing leg would be shipped and we’d get a tracking number or a call from them in 24 hours. Neither happened. We called 2 more times until we were finally informed it is out of stock and now we have a huge rock slab and 1 leg taking up out entry way and they refuse to provide refund until they get the slab and 1 leg back, even though they screwed up and we waited 2.5 months for a crappy incomplete products. Never get anything from Living Spaces if you actually want what you’re looking at online. And they are not helpful or responsive and they do stole our money now for about 3 months and don’t have someone coming ot pick up the partial furniture they out in out entry way for another month. Be aware! Stay as far away from this company as possible. They, they’re customer service, refund policy, and product turned out to be complete trash!
