The furniture is good, overall satisfied with it. However the customer service is TERRIBLE. We waited months for our teak furniture, and when it arrived, 3/7 pieces were damaged. We didn't receive replacements until another few months later, and again, 2/3 pieces were damaged and had to be sent back! Nothing was done to expedite replacing these remaining 2 pieces, which we still haven't received months later. Customer service totally nonresponsive. I am forgiving of poor customer service if the product is really great, but it's not that great. I would not order from this company again.

I have placed two orders with Outer, one in 2024 and another in 2025. Both were unfortunately very delayed. In fact, my second order is currently delayed over two months. Somehow the delivery company lost a piece, which has been blocking the delivery even though it is here in my city. I'm growing more and more frustrated because I had to personally track down this issue with the order and I'm having to negotiate a resolution between Outer and the delivery company. This should have all been proactively handled and communicated to me. Furtheremore, it's impossible to get on the phone with Outer—their customer service number always goes to voicemail. They primarily communicate over email which has its obvious drawbacks. I would expect a company of this size and cost to have readily available phone-based customer service. Two stars at least because the furniture is good quality and their built-in cover system for tables and chairs is innovative.

Starting this review with the comment that I remain excited to receive my outer furniture - based on everything I've read, the QUALITY of their furniture is stellar. Unfortunately, 4 months after ordering my furniture (which was originally estimated to ship in 2 months) I am still in the dark about my actual shipping date. I completely understand that delays can happen (especially these days) and do not fault the company for this. My issue is 100% with their failure to provide proactive, regular, and realistic updates. Every update that I've received was initiated by an email from me and resulted (generally 3-4 days later) in a promise that went unfulfilled. My last promise from Outer was that shipment (and a tracking number) would happen last week. And yet here I sit with no tracking number and dwindling expectations. If/when the shipment arrives, I would love to update this review with a glowing account of how it was all worth the wait...but I'm not holding my breath.

If covered and left in the rain, the design causes water and dirt to run into cushion edges. When I went to remove cushion covers to wash them, the cushion liners had totally disintegrated into messy white powder leaving loose stuffing inside with no firm.

Arrived a month late with 2 pieces damaged. The replacement pieces also arrived damaged. Now awaiting shipment 3. The damage is not do to shipping but manufacturing. Welds broken, aluminum bent into the frame and a leg that looks like it was reattached crooked with a faulty weld. For 7k....I would shop elsewhere. Learn from my experience.
