Inaccurate Description

During my search for 100% long-staple, cotton bed sheets, Linens and Hutch’s advertisement (with several references in the description) of “long staple cotton” plus their promotional discount drew me in. However, no where on the packaging or the sheets’ fabric content tag is there any reference to long staple cotton. This leads me to believe that although this sheet set is 100% cotton, long staple cotton is not the grade of cotton used here. Additionally, there are small, ink-like dots in several places on the fitted sheet that did not come out when laundered before using. The sheets are soft yet a bit on the thin side. Unfortunately, due to what appears to be false advertising I cannot recommend Linens and Hutch.

We chose long staple cotton because it offers the durability needed for brushing and garment washing, which results in the super soft fabric we aimed to create for our customers. We completely understand your concern about the absence of “long staple” mentioned on the packaging or the fabric content tag. We’ll be reviewing the labeling process to make sure our descriptions are clearer. Regarding the dots you noticed, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. These are likely the result of a minor issue in the manufacturing process. we'll be sending you a replacement set of sheets right away and will and will certainly look into this to prevent future occurrences. As for the sheets being a bit on the thinner side, we designed them to provide comfort with a balance of softness and breathability. We’re sorry this didn’t meet your expectations, and we will continue to strive to improve our products based on feedback like yours.
