I needed a replacement glass for an 8 year old fixture. Not only did they locate the fixture for me, but they ordered it and had it shipped to my home. Couldn't have asked for more.

I thought I was buying a floorlamp and just got the base. This could have been prevented by showing a photo of the base alone. Instead the photo showed the floor lamp. very misleading.

I chose and purchased a $500 floor lamp that was to be delivered. Salesman did not tell me it had to be assembled. The huge box arrived with almost incomprehensible instructions and a missing screw. I phoned the store and was told by the salesman that they don't assemble lamps, and too bad. Had I wanted a lamp requiring assembly, I would have gone to Ikea. After many calls, and trying to assemble it myself (without the vital missing screw) unsuccessfully, I finally spoke with someone in customer service. After a few days, she finally got management to agree to send someone half a mile to my apartment to assemble the lamp. I will NEVER shop there again and DO NOT recommend Lighting By Gregory to anyone.

We've been customers of Lighting by Gregory for some time now and they are our go to place for all things lighting. Clarence Brice has been our salesperson for as long as we've been LBG customers. He's super knowledgeable, got our taste quickly and makes great recommendations / suggestions. Additionally, we recently had an issue with a damaged light (first time ever) shipped from manufacturer and Jahaira Cruz (customer service) responded quickly and made the process as seamless as possible for us!

While we eventually got the fixture we ordered, it took some doing and some extra expense on our part. First, the fixture took months to arrive after the initial order. When it did come, the stem we were sent was the wrong one; we were sure we ordered a different size, but customer service simply said, "That's what comes with the fixture." So we had to place another order for the right stem. We were truly annoyed to find that we were charged for shipping (!), and the part we ordered, though a simple plastic tube, cost $45. Not a happy experience, but it's the light fixture we needed to match others we have in our yard..

LBG has an excellent selection of contemporary light fixtures. The sales staff are not good. They did not tell me that the light fixture I purchased required a low voltage dimmer. They also charged me for shipping to New Jersey vs free shipping on the web site. I had to call twice to get a refund for the shipping cost.

They shipped quickest possible.
