Hi Andrea, We appreciate your honest feedback! In some cases, Phenibut FAA (free amino acid) doesn't work as well as our regular Phenibut HCL. Maybe our Phenibut HCL form could work better for you? Phenibut FAA has the advantage of not being very sour or bitter. However, because it does not dissolve quickly, this also means that it is more effective when taken sublingually (which means allowing the Phenibut FAA to dissolve under your tongue, instead of eating it - sublingual can take 10 - 20 minutes for the recommended serving of 2 x 250mg scoops to fully dissolve). Phenibut HCL is very sour and bitter compared to the FAA, so it's best to take the HCL form when put into capsules or dissolved in juice. On the other hand, because Phenibut HCL dissolves so easily, it absorbs quickly, which might be why some people find better results with it.
