I'm on my FOURTH case for my samsung galaxy s8+ and the buttons stop working after a few weeks or so. The rubber inside of them gives out and just pushes to the side. I don't even use my bixby button but I accidentally pushed it the other day and lo and behold, it wouldn't "work" because the rubber button doesn't work. This is a serious flaw, considering turning the volume up and down is necessary.

I have protected my iphones for 4 full years with Lifeproof. Negative comments first: Most people are mad that the case does start to fall apart after almost a year of use. This is true depending on how hard you are on the phone or not. For example after a full year my wife has a scratched up leaking case, and I have the same case with very little problems. I think it is because she jams it into her purse and pulls it out past other objects. BUT Positive: The customer service and warranty replacement is amazing and easy. So take the good with the bad. The case also does keep your phone looking like brand new when it is taken out of the case. It is a very good case. I have never broken an Iphone screen with a Lifeproof on it. My cases have been durable over the past 4 years of use. I have never fully dropped it into water, but I don't pull the phone out next to a lake or pool. Because I don't trust ANY case for total submersion. Lifeproof is a good company.

I bought a lifeproof case for my iphone 5, thinking that will be woth it to pay that amount of money. 1. Don't try it in water.. i am a kayak guide, taking the phone in my rain jacket in rainy days was not good idea, a few times end up putting the phone in a rice bottle. 2. after 5 months, the case start falling apart from the borders, not close to be waterproof anymore, because the bad quality plastic of the fingerprint it disappear. 3. I try to contact the warranty via application form and email, have been at least 2 months since my last email and i still don't have any reply from them. Conclusion: HORRIBLE product ,HORRIBLE customer service, way to expensive

Very disappointed with LifeProof in general and be careful if you're not completely and utterly certain that you're ordering the case that you want like if you're trying to get a case for a Note 5 or if you're trying to get a case for like us Galaxy S5 and you accidentally make the mistake of picking the opposite case that you're actually looking for because it will take a week to a week and a half before you will receive your money back and I'm talking about not even 12 hours since I made the original order and once I noticed it not even two minutes later which this was on a Sunday so they're closed on a Sunday as soon as they were open the very next day I called and of course it's already shipped apparently which is good on their part but they can't do anything about it so it's going to be a week week and a half you know because I've got to get a sticker that they email me and I have to print it out myself and then put it on the package send it back wait a week or two for them to receive it and then my money will be put back into my account. Pretty much like I said very disappointing I will never be using my proof or anything never have and I don't know why I thought I should I've never broken a screen with my otter boxes that I've used throughout the years, just figured I'd go ahead and give it a try that was a horrible idea. In addition I just highly do not recommend using LifeProof.

Works for just over a year and falls to pieces. This case is too expensive to have such shoddy workmanship. I'd recommend a different case.

I thought the case looked cool and would hopefully do a great job of protecting my new Galaxy S8+. I have only had my phone for a couple of months and havent had to test the durability part of the case ye thankfully,, but I have discovered that the side buttons on the case for volume control and power stop working after 2 or 3 weeks. Currently on my 2nd case and the buttons just stopped working on it also. Protecting your phone doesn't really matter all that much if it doesn't even work right with the case on there.

The Lifeproof Fre phone case for the Iphone 7 has so far been a reliable case for me. After having used it for a while, there are a few pros and cons that have stood out with this case. For the most part, this phone case is a great investment and the pros outweigh the cons. Pros • Durability: The case is very durable and definitely holds up to the standard that Lifeproof sets. Working in an environment that is very punishing and unforgiving to a phone if it is not protected, there has never been any damage to the phone itself while having this case on. • Waterproof: The case is waterproof. When spending a lot of time in the outdoors, having a case that is protective from liquids is very valuable. The Lifeproof Fre case is as waterproof as they claim it to be. After getting the case, it is recommended that you put it together without the phone inside and submerge it under water to test how waterproof it really is. • Design: This case is very slim and light, yet still lives up to the expectation when it comes to durability. It can be difficult to find a phone case that completely covers the phone, is durable, and is not bulky. This phone case meets all of those criteria. Cons • Call Quality: The call quality of the Lifeproof Fre case seems to be up for debate. When talking on the phone, the caller on the other line may not be able to hear you as well as if the case were not on. Callers have that the case makes a person’s voice quieter, making them hard to understand during a phone call. Alhough, this problem does not seem to happen all of the time, and could probably be resolved with more investigation into the problem. • Clean Screen: While installing the phone case, it is recommended (by Lifeproof) that one clean the phone screen from debri with a cloth that is provided. This is to ensure that no debri will be remaining when the phone case is installed on the phone. Although, most of the debri is removed from the phone, it is very difficult to completely remove all debri with the given cloth if you are not wanting to spend a ton of time cleaning it. Although there are both positive and negative aspects to the Lifeproof Fre case, it overall has been a very reliable case. This case has lived up to most of the expectations I had when purchasing it, and has saved me many times from having a broken phone. Overall, this phone is perfect for anyone who is spending a lot of times in an outdoor environment or is tough on their phone. The positive aspects of this phone case definitely outweigh the negatives.

Ive had to contact customer service twice to get a replacement case due to wear and tear, and both times the customer service has been phenomenal. Couldn't have a better experience!
