I used to love Lifeproof and have had several of their cases over the years. However, my latest experience with their Nuud case for the iPad Pro 9.7” has been exceptionally poor. I first bought it in 2016. Within a year, the rubber surround (particularly near the jack socket) had started to delaminate and fall off. I tried gluing it back but it just got worse. All credit to Lifeproof, they replaced it under guarantee. Then it happened again and again it was replaced. It has now happened for the third time and even more quickly than previously. Whatever the problem is, it is obviously not an isolated one and others have reported similar issues. The difference this time is that I have made five complaints about it over several weeks and been met with a wall of silence. The case is obviously not of merchantable quality but I can only conclude that Lifeproof no longer stand by their products - whatever the claims on their website.

I have always lovedddddd the Lifeproof cases! When I got my 7plus I got it and it was great. I then switched to the iPhone XS Max and the case seal wasn’t fully functioning and I had only put it on once. It’s not like I was playing with it taking it off and on and every time I call about getting a new one I never get a real Answer they just say sorry. These cases are normally really good but I’m not happy with the customer service because the cases are very expensive especially for it to be pretty much broke as soon as you get it!

I love my case the only problem I have is when talking on the phone the people calling me or that I am calling say they can't hear me. But this case has been with me through being dropped from grocery carts while grocery shopping to this latest debacle of falling off the shelf into a pan of the dishwater. It was still playing music when I found it dried it off and Nothing is wrong with it!!! Awesome case

I have a brand new galaxy 9s plus and this is the the worst damm case I've ever bought . My phone fell today and now its destroyed I never had this problem with other box.. I used otterbox for years and my phone never got a scratch ...I gave your product a chance and now I'm mad so I advise others who are looking for a good case dont buy the lifeproof case its crap never again I'll buy another product from ya'll my phone isn't even payed off yet and now I gotta get a new one

I’ve had life proof for 11 months. Aside from one of the speaker protectors falling out, and the silicone protector within the charging opener falling out, the case has held up well. My phone has been dropped, thrown by children, and survived the snow, the beach, the ocean, daily showers, and more. However, this week I slipped and fell with my phone in my back pocket. While the case remained mostly intact, my phone bent nearly in half. I’m disappointed about this.

The lifeproof case broke in about 1 month from putting my phone in my pocket. I guess it isn't cloth proof.

Even though I spent the extra money for the FRE Lifeproof case, with the 360° full protection, my screen shattered after a fall less than 2 meters... I called customer service since there's a warranty, but the warranty only applies to the case. So don't waste your money. I previously used Otterboxes and this is the first time my phone/screen has ever been broken. If you have a product that claims to protect your phone, but doesn't, you should at least try to help fix the shattered screen or have some sort of compensation since I forked over the ridiculous amount to pay for said case... it's a scam.

I have used life proof my phone since they started coming out they do very well for a little bit. IPhone life proof cases but I assume many other cases like this have same problem. biggest problem is the glue around finger print id on iPhone always lets loose and leaks if phones gets hot in hand or pocket glue weakens even faster. number two I only have my charge port open when charging and for some reason nothing but dust goes right in through the dust port and then you are forced to re open phone case to clean. in turn this weakens life proof cases protection value each time you do this. so its kind of dust proof and water proof but not for a long time. I may buy again but will have to be extra careful all the time. that kind of defeats the purpose of buying right but this is the world we live in and have to make do with companies and there faulty products
