Case did not hold up. Less than 2 years old.

Lifeproof is garbage, not a good ROI at all. We have 4 cellphones in our house, 2 have have lifeproof cases less than a year old, 2 have Otter Box 1 year and 3 yrs old. Rubber around BOTH lifeproof cases is peeling off and you cant operate the buttons on the side of the phone well wo the rubber covers. The 2 Otter Box cases are holding up just fine! I've had Otter box in the past and will.cont w them forever. I will never purchase another lifeproof case. They are more expensive than Otter Box and definitely NOT worth it!

Placed order April 15th. Canceled April 17th. On April 18th they sent an e-mail saying my item was ready to ship and a label was generated. Responded immediately that I'd canceled, do not ship, please refund. On April 20th they sent an e-mail saying I could cancel, but I'd need to print their pre-generated label, wait for the item to arrive, put on the label and ship back, and then wait up to two weeks (after receipt) for a refund. Oh, and they'd charge me a fee for the return. I double-checked and the USPS tracking they'd provided on the 18th? Hadn't been shipped, just a label generated. Responded immediately that I'd already canceled this TWICE, the item was still there, and to just refund me - I was not going to wait for the item to send back and be charged a fee. On April 23rd they sent ANOTHER e-mail saying they'd wave the fee for the return, but that I'd still have to wait for the item and send it back. Double-checked again and the USPS tracking showed the item STILL hadn't been shipped. I tried to contact the person (Samuel), but the number said their phone service was not available currently; when I tried to send ANOTHER message through their site, they'd blocked me. I've filed a chargeback against them and am warning people. Their product is great but their customer service is HORRIBLE - no help whatsoever and I'll never deal directly with Lifeproof or OtterBox EVER AGAIN.

Had my share of these cases because they kept breaking. Decided to buy one for my iPhone X figuring that they had fixed all the problems. But nope with the microphone phone doesn’t understand half the stuff you’re talking on Siri, and you can’t use speaker when talking on the phone😡. Didn’t get my $92.00 worth

Sturdy and waterproof but after a year the volume buttons stopped working. Now the power button. They are worn out. I won't buy this brand again.

Bought a case when I had an iPhone 5 and the protector screen came away from the case. They replaced it but I had to pay shipping. That case fell apart as well so I didn’t go back. Now have an iPhone XS Max and thought I might give them another chance. The speaker protectors have started coming out and I just took my case off for the first time since I put it on and around my camera is completely shattered. I will not be buying from this company ever again.

I bought 2 FRĒ cases for both my mom and I for our iPhone 11s and when the cases arrived my case keeps getting AIR BUBBLES! I have been buying from Lifeproof SINCE 2012 and I have NEVER had this problem! This is absolutely outrageous and a total scam! Do not buy the new covers from them as they also ruined their original design by changing the way you open the charging port and enable silent mode. Literally every time I try to switch silent mode on and off I chip my nails, by the way, THEY AREN’T ACRYLIC NAILS, THEY’RE NATURAL NAILS! If you have never used Lifeproof before, only buy it for models before iPhone 11.

I’m giving 3 stars due to the fact this case has saved my phone many times after accidentally dropping but it’s really annoying that I have to yell into my phone to talk to people because they can’t hear me and say I sound muffled so therefore I end up having to take the case off just to make a phone call and it barley last a year like some others posted the plastic seal over the home button wears off so needless to say I have to get a replacement once a year I definitely think this case should last longer than a year for 100$
