Liberty HealthShare - The NO PAY Claim Shisters!
Liberty HealthShare is a really bad choice for a healthcare insurance plan. I've been battling with them for over a year to cover an operation they pre-authorized. Now, they're telling me it wasn't covered. It was a recommended procedure that I wouldn't have done without the coverage already in place. As such, I'm being saddled with thousands of dollars in payments they are responsible for. They masquerade as a non-profit ministry here to help its members. What kind of help is this? It sounds like a typical for profit greedy insurance company looking for any excuse to deny a valid claim and line their own pockets. The only reason to have an insurance coverage is so they're there when you need them, otherwise what's the point? Run fast.... and run far, far away from this shister company! (In reply to the message below) When a member follows your protocol and process for getting a medically mandatory surgery pre-authorized for payment and then you DON'T PAY once the claim is submitted, that is both fraudulent and criminal in my opinion. Your "ministry" as you call it lacks integrity. If you care to look into the details you'll clearly see my claim was not paid. And I still have creditors after me for a surgery YOU agreed to pay for over 4 years ago!

Hi Randy, We are a healthsharing ministry, not insurance and our members choose to share into one another’s medical needs. Sharing is voluntary; however, our community has shared every eligible medical need since we began in 1995. Eligibility is determined by various factors, such as complete expense submission and fair pricing for medical services. If not received, sharing may be delayed in these cases. We wish you well.
