Stay away from them
Stay away from them! I signed on in 2019 and have since had an 89% increase in share amount with an increase in the AUA ( deductible). I have sent multiple email messages to their CEO and got back fluff. DO NOT DO IT!

Liberty Health share is a not a stable company, and does not pay out claims in a timely manner. I submitted a claim for an emergency room visit my wife had on 1/25/2021 totaling over $9k that I owe after negotiation. They have 6 months to pay a bill before it is considered "late". It has been 9 months now with no sort of resolution other than "we have a first in first out" sharing policy. I have seen other complaints from people as far back as 2019 who have yet to receive reimbursement for services with many bills going to collections as a result. This company has no reserves to safeguard against situations were a larger payout such as mine is warranted. I was lucky that my bill did not go to collections as well, and that eventually I was able to pay it when the company finally sent a check to cover the outstanding balance nearly a year later. I wish to never be place in that situation again.

Total waste of money. They never paid out and left us with thousands of dollars in bills after my daughter was born. I know the appeal of the price tag of this service seems nice but its an awful company. You never get the same answer or the same person when you call for help. Run away as fast as you can!!!!

Invoice 12/23/20 unpaid reimbursement. Everyone I referred to this organization has unpaid approved disbursements since 2020.

If I could give a half-star I would. Bottom line, my husband and I both were charged an extra $$ of money for the first three months due to weight/BP. Then we paid approximately $6,000 in sharing. We only submitted our "well visit" charges for our 1st doctor visits and bloodwork. They NEVER paid. Also a relative of ours has very steep medical bills and they did not pay. I have followed up over and over and get the same "canned statement" that we are in-line for payment. I guess that line is a year long. We changed companies. Wish I had read reviews before we signed up. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY.

Run, RUN from this company! Member since 2/19 Like so many others, I joined up for LHS to try and save money on health insurance. Works great if you don't ever have a medical issue. My wife went in for an outpatient surgery in February. She ended up having to stay a night in the hospital. Bottom line, nothing has been paid and like so many others, we are getting bills and threats to be sent to collection. We are having to pay almost all of the bills out of pocket to keep our credit from being trashed. Unfortunately one of those bills is a huge number and I am not sure how we are going to cover it. LHS hasn't even paid the paltry amount that they have agreed to pay. I was told recently by a representative that they are on a "First in, first out" payment policy. Meaning they are paying the bills in the order they come in. Problem is they are just now getting to paying bills from Oct. of 2020! I can't think of too many healthcare providers who are OK waiting almost a year for payment. I honestly don't know how this company stays solvent. I am now forced to go back to my original insurance and pay the insanely high premiums. At least my bills will get paid in a timely manner and I won't get stuck with tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills that don't look like they are going to get paid. Oh, and their Medical Cost Savings Solutions is a joke. I called them to report a balance bill and the person I talked to sounded like she had no idea what I was talking about. DO NOT go with this company!

Haven't done any business with them in quite a few years. No further comment.

Hi Joseph, Our healthsharing members voluntarily choose to share one another’s medical expenses. We only facilitate this process. Healthsharing is unique in that our members take an active role in their healthcare and stay in close communication with their providers to manage their expenses. This helps to keep medical costs low and makes the sharing process smoother for all.

This organization took membership fees promptly, but never paid for any of the services promised in their membership coverage. They even refused to pay for a pre-authorized proceedure. How they get 3 stars here with only 1 star reviews is baffling. My family under separate Liberty Healthshare memberships in different states experienced the same problem, money in to them but no money out ever ... so we switched to Aliera Healthshare which honored membership payments for covered proceedures in 2019, but stopped paying any covered proceedures in 2020 when they switched their name to Trinity Healthshare. So we have moved to Aspen Insurance which is as cheap as these healthshares, but is regulated by the Insurance industry so they cannot refuse to pay plan-covered proceedures the way healthshares can. If you read the small print in healthshares they even say their payments out are voluntary and not guaranteed, while your payments in to them are guaranteed and not voluntary.

Hi, We are proud to say that our healthsharing community shares millions of dollars in medical expenses each month. In the previous 4 years, our healthsharing members have shared more than $1.2 billion in medical costs. Our members only share in eligible medical expenses, which is why some medical services must be preauthorized to be considered for sharing. We wish you the best in your health journey.
