Okay 1st I’ve been a member for around 5 years or maybe more and just stopped being one for their tactics. The first 3 years they were pretty good overall but they made changes and if they don’t get a bill submitted the fully correct way in details (some Dr. And hospitals have different itemized bills) they will say it’s not the correct one and try to make you get different itemized bill to where they don’t have to pay because it’s outside of the window of when they won’t pay the bill anymore. This along with other issues of not getting bills paid has put me and my family in a financial mess. I’m now over $80k in debt because of them. They have documents sent to them and many of the the same ones, many with different line item layouts but to them they were not good enough. They also will say they didn’t get them or will email me directly and then I’ll send a document and then claim they never got it it. Just so many loop holes for them that favor them not having to payout. That shows they just use the Christian word to their advantage. They don’t believe in truly helping people they believe making money at the top and making it harder for the people that need the help. I’d stay away from this company and probably many like it.

TJ, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’d like to offer a bit of clarity regarding your concerns. Liberty HealthShare does require an itemized bill to be able to process an expense properly. An itemized bill must include: the provider and patient’s names, date of service, diagnosis and procedure codes, the amount billed, any discounts given at time of service and any amounts paid by any parties other than Liberty HealthShare. Regarding timely filing, our members do have 180 days from the original date of service to submit all required documentation. If there is an issue with any of your expenses, I encourage you to contact our Member Resolution Department so we may assist with finding a resolution.
