I have been waiting for over 2 years for Liberty Healthshare to reimburse me for covered medical bills. I have called dozens of times only to receive the same response: "we have no idea when you'll be reimbursed" Nobody has any information and they are completely unwilling to help in any way.

We were members of Liberty HealthShare from 2017 to to 2022 and that was the biggest mistake our family ever made; I cannot even begin to describe how this has affected our lives. We have thousands of dollars worth of unpaid medical debt which in turn means we are constantly receiving phone calls and mail wanting to be paid for these unpaid bills. Our credit scores have been severely impacted. We were “banned” from our childrens’ Pediatric office. The economy has been stressful enough on most during the last several years and when adding in the completely scam of Liberty Healthshare, our overall well-being has dwindled thanks to this “Christian” organization. Edit: (as of today, 03/24/2024) I was notified by email on 03/18/2024 that 14 of the unpaid accounts had a payment sent. Although unsure if appropriate amounts were sent, happy to at least see that action has been made but there are still large outstanding balances that need paid; specifically from service date 12/18/2018 with a balance of $9,762.69! Also 07/20/2018 for $437.96. Amongst others that I could continue listing. Was noticed of a payment sent for service date 07/12/2018 but unsure to which account as there are two accounts with that date of service. One for $2,025.56 and one for $170.45. Would like to know which one was taken care of!

They took my money and never paid the service providers, even though they represented to me that they would. I just received a bill two years later that they had promised to pay and never did. The healthcare provider tried no less than eleven times to get paid only to get nothing but ignored. I contacted Liberty Healthshare to press for an answer of when the bill would be paid, and the response I got was scripted doublespeak. i never got an answer to my question of when the bill would be paid or if it ever would. I am stuck with the bill, and here I thought it was taken care of two years ago. Thank goodness it was only $675. The problem with this outfit is that, unlike an insurance company, it is unregulated. The day I receive reimbursement is the day I shall take this down.

I've been wrangling with them over a bill for months now, just to figure out how to even submit it the way they want. A few of the customer service folks seem to care- most seem exhausted. Every time I have submitted a bill, something is wrong with it. I make the changes they want, and then something else is wrong. It is truly a game of "pin the tail on the donkey- only in the end, I'm the one getting stuck. As soon as I can get this bill settled, I'm outta here- whether they pay or not. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE. They are great as long as you don't have a claim.

Horrible. Our son broke his ankle and required surgery in 2020. 3 years later his largest bil has yet to be paid. He’s in collections and still no time frame on when it will be paid. The limitations on time frames and when bios were paid certainly was NOT discussed when we signed up. We left in 2021. Stay away from this program !!

We had Liberty Healthshare for many years and we don't really have many health problems. I had good experience when I had a hysterectomy, and they were quick to pay. But then we had ER and hospital visit and two years later, they still haven't paid the bill. So I am making payments and have paid over a thousand dollars in interest. Plus we had about 8 other bills that took them almost 2 years to pay and now I am having to fight to get my money back from the providers because I had already paid the bills. And they paid the wrong provider on one of my bills and I am having to spends hours on the phone to get it worked out. They are poorly run, and obviously can't manage the money. I would not recommend using them. We switched to Zion Healthshare and they have been phenomenal.

Do not use this company! I was a member in good standing with Liberty for 5 years, and when I needed them most, they completely flaked! I had a hysterectomy in Nov 2021 - I went through the approval process Liberty required for the surgery and it was approved by them to continue. I was told to pay for the procedure out of pocket (which I did) and that I would be reimbursed within their "usual 90 day window". It is now almost 2 years later and I have not received a dime from them, nor have any of the medical providers that billed them directly for payments (office visits, anesthesia, etc). Now, in addition to the money I paid out of pocket, I am getting phone calls from the medical providers stating Liberty has called them and told them that they "don't have the funds to pay my bills and to let them go to collections" - which I am now on the hook for. These bills total almost $20K!! What Liberty is doing is outrageous and unethical and they must be held accountable!

I paid my monthly amount of 399.00 diligently and was auto deducted. I kept my end of the bargain. I was a member for about 5 years and finally stopped august of 2022. When it came down to having any sort of sharing on my end and after meeting all my obligations, I was not paid. This was for health bills from August 2021 to November 2021. I kept paying my monthly premiums because I was told that my benefits after my obligations would be delayed a few months. This was back in October 2021. Had I known they were not going to pay I would have cancelled my membership then but the company did not tell people the truth about what was going on. I Called today but get no answers. The rep seemed very deflective and indifferent to my situation and not helpful. They are prepared for these phone calls. The only thing they say is that there is a backlog. They have no timeline for paying members who are owed their due.
