Liberty Bell Auto Protect is a scam. I bought a Platinum Prime agreement from them, which provides bumper to bumper coverage. Two months later my car broke down, I called and emailed Liberty Bell to get help, the phone number does not work and I have not gotten an email response in almost two weeks....Nothing, no communication. They stole almost $2k from me. Beware, don't make the same mistake I did.

THIS WARRANTY SUPPOSE TO BE COMPANY RIPPED ME AND MANY OTHER HARD WORKING PEOPLE OFF!!!! THEY NEED A CLASS ACTION LAW SUITE FILED AGAINST THEM. I WENT IN THINKING THAT THEY WILL BE THERE WHEN NEEDED. NOW OUR GMC IS IN THE SHOP AND THEY HAVE OUT OF SERVICE PHONES. Have tried reaching this company through six phone calls all not returned and two separate emails and still no returned answer on a claim I filed in August. Very frustrated with this company. Seems to have taken and my money and run. Don't make the same mistake and do business with this company. you will be sorry!!!!!

I am giving this 2 stars as Liberty did approve through my mechanic the warranty work to be performed but like others I tried contacting them through e-mails & useless calls to no avail. Thankfully my mechanic did not start the work to be performed as at this point I will tell him not to until this mess gets figured out... Confirmed out of business! I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & more importantly the NJ Consumer Affairs Division (Bergen County).

My story is the same as everyone on here. Can not get a hold of anyone about a claim for a month. Let us all send complaints to NJ attorney general and department of insurance. I think someone pulled a “maddoff.”

There needs to be a class action suit against them as they seem to have stolen from many of us. I purchased a warranty 7 months ago and now out 2k! I'm filing with my credit card company, ftc, bbb and here. Will be looking into this further. Not only lost 2k recently to them but also a year and half ago another 2k for our other vehicle.

Car was at mechanic for 6 weeks. Never returned a call to my mechanic about a claim. Never returned my calls. Didn't respond to my complaint to the BBB. These people are crooks. They will take your money but not pay any out.
