They save money on elaborate packaging and pass the savings on to us. (Your bag will arrive flat, packed in a Fed Ex mailer.) The bags on the site are broken in. Of course, the new bag you get will have a fresher and maybe, at first, less charming look. But it just takes time. It's well made. It's absolutely what they have advertised.
