A lot of time lost and hassles with Lensmart. Intermittent errors with their charges, sometimes inaccurate frame color - after I triple checked myself prior to ordering, endless back and forth emails and dishonest about refund policies. Inaccurate frame width on some of the frames. Ingenuine about their policies - simply not worth the enticing cute frames/low costs.

The prescription glasses I ordered were completely unusable. When I complained, Lensmart claimed the PD wasn’t on my prescription. I sent a screenshot proving it was, and although they eventually realised their mistake, they still tried to blame me. I also paid extra for their insurance in case of any issues, as I wasn’t confident ordering from China. That insurance has been completely ignored throughout the process. They then argued that my PD was slightly off in one eye, despite the fact that every pair of glasses I’ve owned has been made to those same measurements without any problems. These glasses are so badly made that I literally have to lift them above my nose to be able to read properly. Lensmart continues to insist the glasses were made correctly and refuses to acknowledge the insurance I paid for. They have stopped responding to my complaints and now expect me to pay for replacement lenses identical to the ones that were unusable in the first place. Unless you’re only buying clear frames, I’d avoid this company. And don’t waste your money on the insurance—it’s worthless.

Fast delivery and quick service. All I had to do was send in my prescription and my glasses and I could see perfectly. The design of the glasses are also very chic and there’s many designs to choose from

The frames were on the cheap side but the lenses at least were correct. I’m having to handle very very carefully as to not break them. The shipping took 6 full weeks from order date to my mailbox. Not worth the savings!! I will not order from them again!! Also, customer service was non responsive. I finally received a Messenger message from them after emailing requesting a refund for never receiving. Who does that?!

UPDATE – Excellent customer service I recently had an issue with one of my new orders: I received a different frame instead of the Lupita frame I had ordered. I contacted Lensmart Customer Service and was genuinely impressed with how they handled the situation. They responded quickly, acknowledged the mistake, and arranged to make and send me the correct Lupita glasses at no additional cost. They also told me I could keep the frame I received by mistake and even offered me a discount coupon for a future order. Mistakes can happen with any company, but for me, the way a company handles them says a lot about the quality of its customer service. Lensmart resolved the issue quickly, kindly and professionally, and the whole experience made me feel even more confident ordering from them again. Thank you to the Lensmart Customer Service team for taking such good care of the situation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I originally ordered one pair of glasses from Lensmart. After that, I realized how easy it was to find frames that actually fit me, and now I keep coming back for different styles. What impressed me most is how accurate the frame measurements are. Because the sizes on the website are reliable, I can confidently choose frames that fit my face. The virtual try-on feature is also surprisingly useful. In fact, it makes shopping almost too easy because I keep finding new frames I want to own! 😄 I have ordered regular prescription glasses, photochromic lenses, brown-tinted sunglasses, and blue mirrored sunglasses. Every pair arrived exactly as expected. The lenses are clear, comfortable, and provide excellent vision. The UV protection works well, and the photochromic lenses darken nicely outdoors. The prices are excellent for the quality you receive. Delivery to Hungary was completely reasonable, especially considering that custom prescription glasses often take a similar amount of time to be made locally. What I love most is that Lensmart allows me to treat glasses as part of my personal style instead of just a medical necessity. Some days I wear a simple frame, other days I choose something bold and fun. Having that freedom at such affordable prices has been amazing. I am genuinely happy with every order and would absolutely recommend Lensmart to anyone looking for stylish, affordable prescription glasses.
