Stay away from LensCrafters friendly shopping center if you leave in the Greensboro area!!!!!! It takes them a full two weeks to get your glasses in!!!! If you decide to use LensCrafters go to Hanes mall in Winston salem, they are a bit faster. I called everyday after 7 days to see if my glasses came in and they act like I am bothering them!!! If I shell 700+ out of my pocket yes I expect my glasses asap. At this point I will just go back to my old eye doctor with my entire family because the speed of LensCrafters and be able to get your glasses same day was what made me switch and if they can deliver at least 7 days they are as good as any other place. Pfffffff

LensCrafters in Merrick Park So I received my eyeglasses about 2 weeks ago don’t remember exact date. First when I received the eyeglasses 4 weeks ago they had ordered incorrect pair the wrong color was ordered. I ordered a pair of Tiffany eyeglasses in blue-they sent me a pair in clear. So guess what, I had to wait another 2 weeks for my eyeglasses the mistake was theirs. At least they should have offered me a $50 credit to use next time. Then I went in today because my eyeglasses were crooked. I waited for Regina (who seems to be the only qualified person here to fix glasses) for about 20 minutes to fix my glasses. I did not mind to wait for her, however the other lady who works there (blond not sure if she is the manager) told Regina that there was another customer waiting for her (this customer had just arrived). This to me does not seem to be good customer service. You are rushing Regina who is busy assisting me (a customer who paid good money for her glasses ) to help another customer while I did wait 20 minutes to have Regina assist me. Needless to say that upset me. It’s a shame because beginning g of last year I went to this same location for a pair of Prada’s and I encountered no issues. Aldo the air conditioning in this store has been broken for like 3 weeks now. It’s awful to shop in there in the Miami heat and humidity Please guys step up to the plate

I ordered mine 12/23/22 and just got them 1/18/23 and only after calling and calling. I asked for a cleaning cloth and was told that is what the bag is for. It does not work well. They did not offer me a cloth or cleaning kit, just kept asking me to buy the protection plan. My wife and I purchased glasses at Kaiser, Costco and Lenscrafters. We paid far more at Lenscrafters than either of the other 2 and received better service at both of the others. Will definitely never go back.

I am thoroughly disappointed in Lens Crafters. I recently spent a lot of money on a pair of glasses. I returned to your store 1 month and 2 days after the purchase date to inform your staff that one of lenses did not fit properly in the frame. The lens made a clicking noise every time I would clean them as it was being pressed back into the frame and did not seat well. I understand manufacturing defects can occur and I expected that at minimum there would be no issue in getting this corrected. When I went to your store and spoke to the manager they told me glasses were outside of your 30 day satisfaction period (it was over by 2 days) and then gave me attitude about why I did not bring them back sooner if the issue bothered me. This is terrible customer service and I doubt I will ever purchase a pair of eyeglasses from Lens Crafters again because of this. First off, 30 days of satisfaction should not relate to a manufacturing defect – this is a fault on your end, not mine. Second, to make your customer feel dumb for requesting a repair 2 days after the warranty period, or whatever you call it, is probably the worst customer service you can provide. I will note that after a bit of delay your manager did say they will have a replacement frame ordered; however, this should have been the first response and not the one laced with attitude. Needless to say, I am disappointed and upset at the service your company has provided.

We have been gettng eye service at Brookwood and the Sumit for many years. However, i have to have emergency cataract surgery ASAP. WE found out on July 31 and the eye tech said she would call Monday morning to get the first available for me. Four weeks past, and I called back. The tech said the doctor's office was closed on Monday. I told her I would be out of town on Monday and to leave message on my answering machine I needed the surgery son as My September had Holy Days and i needed the surgery before and other urgent things in September. Never Heard back from here. A few days later I called and so hen. someone else answred the phone. She said I had an appointnent September 5. Now how was I supposed to know that. In addition the doctor was going n vaction September 19 [ right in the middle of the Hifh Holidays. Did I mention I cannot see. I called Dr. Tyner , the owner of the business. He jusr wanted that I cold go to another doctor, but refused to give a referra. I caled the tech and she said she would call back but she hasn't and I am sure she wn't. I needmy eyes fixed now. and no one wil give me another referal. I am not going back to Lenscrafters again or at least I say that now!

Eye exam was best part of entire experience. First when we arrived on time for appointment we had to wait about 20 minutes for pre-exam and there was only 1 other customer there. Then after the exam we looked at frames, small selection with similar styles that I personally didn’t like. When we were going over the expenses with someone there were several times we had to wait for someone, and a warranty we did not sign up for was added to the bill. In addition the bill was very high, especially compared to VisionWorks where we previously went before insurance changed.

My daughter in law went to our only local Lens Crafters here in Florence SC to get her a new pair of glasses. She ended up picking a pair and when it was all said and done, she paid right at $600 cash for the new glasses. Well, due to the pandemic, they no longer do same day glasses, so she ended up having to wait about 2 weeks to get her new glasses. When the glasses came in and after wearing them for about 24 hours or so she realized the blurriness wasn't clearing and neither was the headache she gained not long after beginning to wear them. So the next day she went back and they checked their paperwork and said they ordered the right prescription, but she knew something was wrong. So she went to another eye atore who had the ability to check the RX in each lens and come to find out.. the lenses were the complete WRONG PRESCRIPTION! She went back to Lens Crafters and they said it was a goof up on the lens company not their company and that they could send them back and have them remade, but that would take another 2 weeks or so to get the corrected ones in. She had her receipt so she just asked for a refund. They stated it had to come from home office and it could take up to 30 days to get that refund! 30 days with no money and no eyeglasses! So after about 2 weeks a check finally came but Lens Crafters put a 15 day hold on it. So, I called their home office and I was told by the CS refund associate and I quote " We can't issue the refunds in the store and we dont usually send out a refund check until we (lens crafters) knows there is enough money in the bank to cash the check which is why that 15 day hold is placed on the check". Meaning that Lens Crafters IS LITERALLY FLOATING REFUND CHECKS. A MULTIMILLION DOLLAR COMPANY FLOATING CHECKS. So I would suggest staying clear.

I recently had an eye exam and purchased a new pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses. The glasses came in and all went well, until I ask for a copy of my prescription, the sales clerk said the printer was out of ink and could not print one. I called back in a week later and asked that they send me a copy of my prescription, I was told they could not email or scan it only Fax. You would think with today's technology they would figure out a way to provide it electronically. I was told I would have to come back to the store, I did so only to find a sign that sorry we are closed. I tried calling another store in the same area, and while they could see my order they would not share with me my prescription. All in all a very poor interaction with Lens Crafters....lots of other options won't be back.
