Purchased Burberry frames/glasses at Lenscrafters. Very poor quality. The temple fell off the hinge in 6 weeks of normal wear. I did not buy the warranty. I no longer live near a Lenscrafter store (150 mile round trip). I called the store and the store said there is no place I could send them for repair and likely they could not repair them anyway. I would have to pay to repair/replace since I did not buy the warranty. I should not have to buy a warranty to cover poor quality!

Unprofessional and horrible service!!! I've been a loyal customer of Lenscrafters for years. In October 2022, I brought in a new prescription. Shortly after, I started to experience some discomfort. I went back to see my doctor and after she checked my eyes and the glasses, she told me that the prescription wasn't executed properly. I went back to Lenscrafters and ask them to fix it. First of all, they couldn't find me in the system, the CSR had put me under someone else profile. Then, when they finally retrieved my info, they acted like I was the one who was supposed to tell them what to do, saying that if these instructions were on my prescription, they would have added them. They ask me to pay an additional fee to fix the glasses. No empathy, no apologies, nothing! I went back home, and I found the doctor's prescription and guess what? It did have all the info. I immediately filed a complaint that nobody responded to. I will be complaining to the Consumer Protection and Antitrust Bureau. Extremely unpleasant experience. Since I don't trust them with my eyes anymore, I had to go buy new lenses somewhere else.

We have been Lenscrafter customer for so many years already. Annual exam has zero co-pay with our insurance but lenscrafter charged us $40 copay for each one of us. When I questioned and verified that’s when they admitted that it’s a charge for that mandatory digital eye exam. It is an unnecessary eye exam but they will not allow you not to waive it. Then I was told to pay $65 each as our copay for our frame and lenses. I have to dispute again because all the add-ons I chose are basic with our insurance coverage. After scrutiny, that was when I was told that $65 is charge for another mandatory digital something. They are charges, not copay. But they use the term copay so that they will get less scrutiny. My conclusion? Silently they are ripping off all their clients without truthfully explaining what are those charges.

Unbelievably unprofessional business! They called me an hour before my scheduled appointment and told me they were going to give my appointment away if a walk in were to get there before me. I live 40+ minutes away and was almost out the door. They said that they implemented a new policy that if the patient doesn't confirm their appointment they day before, they would automatically give my spot away. They literally gave me one chance to confirm and I had less than 24 hours notice. I checked all my text messages, emails and voicemails and only had ONE voicemail. He told me they sent out 2 messages and 2 emails and two voicemails. I had ONE freaking voicemail. A business that doesn't communicate and state their new policies upfront (that you have to confirm) and lies about how many messages they sent out, is automatically losing my business! I'm not one to go on a rant or write a bad review but guys... this was just a terrible experience!!! I was even planning on buying a few pairs of designer glasses with upgrades. Oh well, I guess they're not hurting...

Zero stars is what they really deserve. They promised my prescription glasses in 2 weeks. Here it is week #3, no glasses. The lenses weren’t even shipped yet, no explanation why and no ETA. No customer service as to accommodating me at all. This is unacceptable and I won’t be going to any Lens Crafters ever again, plus they are way to expensive.

1. I paid over $700.00 2. They checked my original glasses and noted bi-focal 3. Eye doctor wrote single vision? 4. The new glasses come in without no-focal. 5. Now they want to charge me an additional $150.00 as they calmly say with some change. 6. I took mom there and they called her to tell her her glasses are ready yet only one pair was ready so now I have to drive her back there again. I’ll never buy glasses there again!

I bought 2 pairs of glasses about 8 months ago. They lady that sold me these when I asked for extended warranty said it wasn’t necessary because of my insurance. I never heard this but she must be the expert. Now 8 months later the manager Kim told me that lady no longer worked there and she can do nothing about my issue. I spent about $1000 plus or minus. Kim also laughed at me in this situation.. i feel they are liars and thieves here. Don’t waist your time here. Find a small mom and pops shop as this place won’t OWN UP TO ANY WRONG DOING. I will now find the 4th review platform to WARN GREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE MYSELF!!! I see you want me to contact you??? You guys have my number. Don’t bother, you will be sadly disappointed and continuously let down. Ordered glasses, was told should be in with in 10 days. But in small print is 10-14 days. I called back after waiting two weeks after receiving no info or notifications. They informed me that my new “Promise date” is now another 10 days out. WTH! If you want a pair of glasses… go elsewhere!
