When I had an eye exam at Lenscrafters, they tried to bill me for a $40 glaucoma test that I didn't get. When I brought my kid back later for her exam, they tried to bill her for a contact lens exam that she didn't get! Highly suspicious. Lenscrafters: I did fill out that form. Haven't heard anything back yet.

Booked appointment - arrived to find out no doctors are on site and it is a telehealth appointment due to COVID 19 and no in office appointments are available. I did not want that or consent to that ahead of time when I booked an in office exam. I don't feel that the telehealth exam was as good as in person would have been. No dilation, etc. Went to order glasses online today, and I couldn't find my Rx info in my account. Chat rep told me they can't give me my records and need to go to the store. I won't be back - I've wasted enough time with Lenscrafters. I'll just get my glasses from somewhere else that has far fewer quality complaints. I would recommend going to a local independent dr. that cares and that will actually see and examine you. EDIT: Your response was a joke and LC has bad customer service all around. Customer service is good, quality of the lenses after two years start to crack and bubbles inside the lenses. They charge a lot. I won’t buy anything here again

Quality of lenses was unusable at night and not as promised. After posting here they sent me a link that was useless. No phone number or email to a person who could assist. Of seems like this sort of conduct will continue to go largely unchecked without class action litigation or small claims actions EN MASS - if you have similar issues call me and perhaps we can band together and do something. After the review, Lenscrafters sent another AI-generated response. It is obvious that a Class Action would be the most effective and likely only way to deal with them . If there are one million of their customers with issues and each one is worth at least $200 a class action law firm could be attracted to the case.

I'm still in shock at how bad this experience was. I only decided to come here because my usual eye place still won't buy a glaucoma machine. They dilate my eyes every time and I just didn't want to do it again. Came here for the first time, got an exam, and they told me I need progressives. Never worn them before. My order came in and I couldn't wear them. I'm in front of huge monitors all day and this was not going to work. Went back and got reading glasses and driving glasses. Both cost me over $1,000. (why?) The prescription was wrong and my right eye was terribly blurry. They told me my driving glasses are fine. Rep said. "I've been doing this over 30 years, I know what I am talking about." Well, I've had my eyes more than 50 years and I can tell you, my right eye is still blurry when I wear them. I finally go back for a third time and pick up my new reading glass prescription. My right eye is still blurry just like my driving glasses. I have to close my one eye to drive. I specifically said to the guy, my driving glasses are still blurry. No response. I said, I guess I'm stuck with them, right? No response. He just wanted to get rid of me. I'm still in shock how this is normal customer service. I'm out an insurance visit, have two pairs of glasses that are blurry and out $1,000. Be very careful going here. I want my money back so I can go to a real eyeglass place.

They don’t know how to used care credit, i tell them that I will use care credit for promotional but the manager Tamara was not able to do it under promotional purchase so she refund then we waited for 3 days and hold my husband glasses then I told them to call the care credit on how to do the promotional purchase but she refused to do that and punched my care credit again but not under promotional purchase again, they don’t know and they don’t care at all and now they call us because my husband glasses has a scratch so they waiting for a new one, we need to wait for another week

I have purchased 4 sets of lens at LensCrafters and none of them have held up. I selected the most expensive progressive, non scratch, gray tint transitional lens $500+. Every pair is scratched and the tent is orange (like blue blockers). I have several other pairs of glasses "from other providers" that are more than 5 years old with no issues. The BBB should step in to stop this ripoff of consumers.

Lenscrafters lenses are over-priced and poor quality. They are supposed to be scratch resistant, which they are not. I've been extremely careful with mine and only use a soft satin cloth to clean them, yet after only 3 months my lenses were terribly scratched up. I went back to the store to see if they would replace them because I felt that I didn't get what I paid for and all they did is offer to sell me new ones. Why would I waste my money a second time on crappy Lenscrafter lenses? No warranty on lenses so if they're flawed, you're out of luck.
