LensCraftersReviews of lenscrafters.com

I went into LensCrafters at Aventura mall. I asked the man how much for reading glasses and I had frames. He said from 99 dollars. After exam, they said 400 dollars. A true scam!!!

Poor service. Very bad experience. Poor staff.instead of refund me back they charged again making sales under their name so can get commission for the sale. They took out the lenses back damaged my RayBan frame and charged twice for nothing the staff should need a replacement for educated professionals they should know what customer is asking rather than taking care of their commission

Extremely Disappointed with LensCrafters – Misleading and Poor Service! I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at LensCrafters in Warwick Mall, Rhode Island. First, they gave me the wrong size frame, and I had to replace it. When placing the order for the correct size, I made it very clear that I was leaving Rhode Island in two weeks and wouldn’t be coming back. They assured me the glasses would be ready in 10 days, saying that was the “worst-case scenario.” It’s now well past that, and they still have no idea when my frames will be delivered to the store (they say they can’t track when they will be delivered). The lack of communication has been frustrating, with no clear answers or updates. While delays happen, being promised a specific timeframe under important circumstances and then being left in the dark is unacceptable. I expected much better from a large company like LensCrafters. If you’re on any sort of schedule or want reliable customer service, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. I do not recommend doing business with this store. Period! Update: The glasses finally arrived at my house via UPS a couple of days ago (after a month) and guess what? They are defective (the right hinge is loose and crocked). I went to LensCrafters in my area to get service (as I was promised I could get service at any LensCrafters in the US), and they told me the glasses are unfixable and not in stock! What a shame—expensive Persol eyeglasses from a company that considers itself “premium.” Waste of time, money and energy for nothing. Stay away from Luxottica scam!

LensCrafters was offering a special price if you bought to pairs of glasses. I bought the 2 pairs of glasses. I used one of the pairs and would get headaches. I finally started using the other pair. I was working a lot at the time and couldn’t get back to LensCrafters. I eventually went somewhere that my insurance paid for glasses. I took the glasses that gave me a headache and they checked them. As it turned out the lens was off by 90 degrees. I went back to LensCrafters with them to see if they would correct them. They refused because it had been a few years. I said you made them wrong. They still said to bad. I would never go back to them for anything

Delamination of both lenses within 6 months of purchase. I had paid for the 1 year insurance so was given a new set of lenses. They delaminated also but this time within 2 months. The store where I purchased them offered a credit towards a new pair. No way, I will never buy from LensCrafters again. The company would not do anything. Now Lenscrafters sent the apology and a link to the company site--- been there done that. They stated"Contact the store where purchased." Read the above statement Lenscrafters! THE PURCHASING STORE OFFERED A CREDIT ON ANOTHER PAIR. NO WAY, TWO SETS OF DELAMINATING LENSES IS WAY TOO MANY FOR ME!

The disjointed relationship between online and in-store caused me to walk out of the store yesterday. I used the online service to schedule and appointment and used the AR system to pick a frame that I liked for style and price - advertised at 50% off. The store didn’t have the frames. They also informed me that the 50% off is only ONLINE which is not disclosed online. Deceptive marketing. Couple that with the in-store staff simply shrugging their shoulders when addressed there is no way I will ever use them again. Bye Lenscrafters after many years of supporting your business I prefer the former version of the company.

Extremely poor customer service at LensCrafters in Warwick Mall, RI. They kept staring customers even though we asked for the service. It appears they don’t care we are there or not. Very rude! We walked out and found a place where someone appreciated our business. Quality is ok.

DO NOT purchase on lenscrafter.com! There is no customer service on the website at all. It is terrible! Response to LensCrafters’s reply: I tried all of contacting methods but still cannot get my duplicate order cancelled. Your online customer service agent didn't give a s**t about my concerns.
