I called to get an eye exam before purchasing new glasses. I was asking about cost and one the cost is a retina scan. I have been going to Cincinnati Eye Institute for many years and they have done several retina scans. I ask if I could get the exam without the retina scan. They said it was mandatory. The cost for these was $39. For that reason I decided to go somewhere else.

I trust Lens Crafters. I associate Lens Crafters with Quality. I have had two pairs of glasses and I am completely satisfied with them. My issue was being told that because I bought online all adjustments would have to be made at the Lab my glasses came from. Did I miss the small print that said that on the Website? I would not have ordered online if I would have known that.

Customer service was really good but product was awful. I loved the glasses that I chose but the lenses were not placed in the glasses correctly. When I put them on my face they were crooked. Really crooked. Not even touching one side of my nose. One of the lenses wasn’t placed in the glasses correctly. It was halfway in there. I returned.

Letting their customers know when an order can or can't be fulfilled. I had an order that was canceled and wasn't even informed about it. Thankfully my other pair of glasses was made and even got it in earlier then expected.

I liked the frequent and continuous communications regarding "we're still working on your order", but I did not like the extraordinary amount of time it took to fulfill the order, one month. That being said, the glasses were well made, well packaged and once shipped, the delivery was on time.

I did not like that my glasses arrived with finger prints all over the lenses and tiny scratches. They should have been cleaned before shipping them out.

All though staff was great. Im still not happy . I can not get transistional lens. Do to perscription strenght. Dont Know where thing are going form here on in. Wish never broke my glasses . I wish my perscription weren’t as they are. Do polycarbonate idea. Still wish thing could be different . Where could get transitional glass

I am somehow satisfied with my purchase. The main issues I had were due to the usability of the site or lack thereof. The latency is high, sometimes the cursor keeps spinning and the price for the optional feature (like chromatic options) never shows up. Then I used the "try on" option and for the most part was good but it recommended a medium frame but the one I purchase presses my temps so it is unconfortable and leaves a mark. I would like to change the frame but I am not sure if that is possible. I guess I have to call customer service.
