Highly recommend staying away from this builder. They intentionally keep items you identify in blue tape walks out of their report so they are not accountable to repair and close the items. Our entire house flickers and lights dim when you turn on a vacuum or blow dryer and Lennar warranty keeps stating ‘this is normal’. After hiring an electrician and having city utilities out here it has been determined it is wiring in the walls that is causing the issue. Every single outlet in our home causes the same issue. Our grout that is supposed to be white is red because the contractor and PM did not protect the floor or clean the floors during construction. We had water damage in 4 rooms at blue tape because ‘their cleaning crew used too much water’. All of our walls have cracked in the corners 1 month into living here. One exterior spigot has zero pressure, the other has too much pressure. The hvac is not ducted properly. The thermostat reads 69 degrees, the master bedroom is 75 degrees and the guest room is 74 degrees. They left trim completely raw and unpainted. Repairs from the blue tape walk were made worse than the original complaint. We have dead switches that go to nothing and control nothing and again their warranty company continues to say ‘sorry, can’t help’ Rewiring an entire house a month into living here is NOT a new owner issue. This is a builder issue for shoddy work. Avoid them at all costs!!!

This company has no employees who take ownership and blame individual departments for their failure. Every interaction I've had could be a better customer experience. You can feel that you're dealing with a large company that doesn't have a feel for its customers. You get the knowledge that you're just another number on their list that they are checking. I suggest avoiding doing business with this company. Other builders out there are worth your business. I was scheduled today to do an inspection and hired a professional inspector to do the job. When we arrived on site, the electrician was still running wires, and the appliances were not even installed. When I asked, the warranty team onsite had zero sympathies and was advised we could still come in. What a joke! Who does an inspection without the whole electrical wiring being completed and appliances and other stuff still missing? Again, no one cares about their customer, and they blame other internal groups for the fallout. It's very frustrating when you've given them another chance for a previous issue, and you see that no one takes it but heart, and they say moving forward, we'll make sure it will not happen again. Still trying to figure out what this feedback will do, but if you're on a housing market, avoid this builder.

We moved in to a 700K house last month and found tons of nails on the top of tack strip in every edges of our carpets (bed rooms and even stairs). It poked to my mother. I'm concerning because we have 2 little ones. Here is that they responded: "ack strip on stairs and along wall perimeter is a standard install, pins can and do poke through homeowner to call Macadam Floor & Design for possible assistance, but no guarantee they will do anything about tack strip. their # is 503-470-2294". With their statement "pins can and do poke through the homeowner", I'm not sure if this is a "standard". The pins are vertically expose thru the thin carpet, almost every perimeter of the rooms. The customer service agent was not able to provide us any document showing what is the standard tack strips installation. As a builder Lennar should do a better job to take care of your customer, rather than not being clear and pushing the responsibility to their supplier.

My lennox elite air conditioner blower mower stopped working in July 2024. I was quoted $3300 to replace but it the air conditioner was registered, I would receive a $1071 warranty credit. I called Lennox to see if the air conditioner was registered. It was not. I was told by Lennox that the home builder, Lennar or installer, Tempo Air should have registered the air conditioner. I called Tempo air, they confirmed they installed the unit in 2015, and at that time they were not registering units, they started that in 2020. I called Lennar and was told they usually inform the home buyer of needing to register the air unit at orientation. I never had an orientation. I had 2 walk throughs, with no mention of registering any appliances. In addition, Lennar did fix several issues discussed in the walk through. I am looking to recieve a refund of $1071, the amount I would have not paid if the air unit had been registered.

Buyers beware I’m putting my business out there because I want others to be aware. All 6 of my windows and back door slider flooded here in Nevada when we had a heavy rain storm to the point water spilled over onto the sills and down the walls and onto floor. I had already previously complained about the windows as heavy dirt was coming through windows in windy days. Avanti windows came out but threw their hands up at any solutions. They came out tested only one window and stated since one only one of my 5 windows has a solar screen stated the solar screen blocked the weep holes but all my windows and back door flooded at the same time. Be aware once you buy they walk away and don’t care about any defects that are present and that you point out. I have had several warranty requests that have gone unfixed because they refused to fix the problem the right way. So as a 1year home owner already have to look into purchasing new windows.

i bought new 2024 home from lennar 4 months ago , their quality in supervision is really bad , ac was small for my unit 3 tons only , but the house need 4 tons ,damage after 1 weeks, no hot water , pain and damage everywhere , even if they send people to fix it , they send people with no experience , i had bill for my water department for $1500 because lennar use cheap materials for the splinker system , this one get damage since day one , i contact them and they just dont want help , this house have been nightmare since , DO NOT BUY HOME FROM LENNAR NEVER , find another company

Moved in to brand new home in January, all my doors have gaps so I figured maybe I should get a foundation guy out to see if maybe it's unleveled. IT IS. It's about 12,000 to come in and fix. They are going to have to rip all my floors out and fix it from the inside. I have so much erosion in my yard already...giant holes under the sod. The list goes on and on. I feel so taken advantage and disheartened. Star far away from any Lennar build. All of the neighbors on my street have major issues...and now we are all stuck in these cardboard houses.

From my terrible experience, if you have another option go for it. Stay away from them. They delivered a house defective. In the final inspection before delivery, we denied the house because the driveway was filthy, full of marks and stains. So they said they were going to fix it. 2 weeks later they called me to deliver again and I noticed the cement was darker than my neighbors, but I was told that it was a fresh cement and it was gonna look like the others. 8 months later I had a professional pressure washer company go there to clean my driveway and thats when I found out they just did something to cover their mess and everything just faded away. Resulting in my driveway looking awful in a brand new house and they say the warranty does not cover the driveway. I had to hire an attorney...but if you can, stay away from them.
