We have been trying for weeks to get help with a demand letter. MetLife has been useless for us. Most of the attorneys have said no they won't help, never returned calls, stood us up for phone call consults that we had to take off work for, or just plain our told us MetLife doesn't pay them enough and they don't have time for us.

Have been paying for it for three years and have yet to been able to actually use the service. every time I try, they send you lists of attorneys that they claim to be referrals, and none of them end up to be accurate. they either no longer work with metlife, or they don't practice the type of law you need (despite showing up in that category), or they just never respond at all. their 'panel' support option for getting advice is equally useless.

Met Life would be a good plan if they kept their provider list up to date, held the providers accountable and actively recruited new providers. Met Life will take monthly premiums from government employees knowing they do not have an adequate amount of providers in the employee's area or state. They are literally collecting money knowing that their customers will not be able to take advantage of the services that they are supposed to provide. Be careful when selecting legal plans. Make sure the provider actually has a network. Employee HR needs to also do their part when contracting with these business.

Worst ever! Claim process takes FOREVER to complete! This is by far the worst customer service ever! They can't give you any updates on what's going or even if your claim has been touched or not. It's way pass the 21 business days and no one can give you an update. What a joke! Will not continue with this plan. Wish I can discontinue this service right now! I can't believe it takes a company so long to review a two page document and two receipts!

over the phone customer service is very poor and obnoxious. Attorneys are great! Only the Metlife customer service was bit rude

I looked for attorneys for basic issues in the Seattle area, I'm not sure if they cherry pick what they want to work on being affiliated with MetLife, but no law office said they had attorneys available to answer my issue. What's the point of paying into this and having attorneys participate if they don't make any availability? This year I refuse to pay this out of my paycheck to see no return.
