I am forever grateful for AIDA. This program has completely changed my life. About a year ago, I saw an ad pop up on my Facebook about the free jumpstart week to learn more. At that time, I knew I wanted to leave my teaching career because of how unhappy I was but never thought I could actually do it. I had never heard of Instructional Design before so I thought, it’s free! Why not? I have never made such a life changing decision so quickly. I enrolled 3 days into the program. I wasn’t looking back. AIDA promised on everything they delivered. The community it brought together was invaluable. The support is unreal! The quality of the learning (and as a former teacher, I know!) was it. The biggest difference for me was the coaches and mentors who quite literally drop everything they have going on to help you at a moments notice. That was invaluable to me. Within 3 months of finishing the program, I got my first full time job. And even now, a year after, I still can join calls and get direct support in my full time job with Jill. 1000% recommend!

AIDA is the most comprehensive program I've seen where you get hands on experience learning different authoring tools, over a period of time with mentors and videos. However, it is an investment, but worth it, if you are diligent, can commit to putting in the time and effort, and able to learn in a self paced environment.

If you are wanting to start a career in instructional design, I highly recommend AIDA! I took a leap of faith and I am so thankful that I did. AIDA clearly provides you with the information and practice that you need to be successful in this field, resulting in a professional portfolio at the end of the program. I love how you have a huge support system too and you never feel alone. You are given a success advisor and biweekly pod meetings so that you are held accountable to reaching your goals and have others to help you. My success advisor, Rayne, was so genuine, motivating, and helpful with completing this program. It is a 9 month program, but you can finish it before then depending on how much time you set aside to do so. I was working as a teacher and did AIDA on the side and finished in 9 months. If I can do it so can you! I am about to start a job as an instructional designer for a well-known college and I couldn’t have done it without AIDA. You will learn adult learning theory, the most important authoring tools, interview prep, resume revamping, and more. If you are thinking of it, go for it! It’s much more affordable than going to college for it. Highly recommend!

AIDA has truly been a game-changer for me. Just a year ago, I was an exhausted and stressed-out teacher. I was losing myself day by day. Taking a big leap of faith, I decided to join AIDA. I must admit, it was quite nerve-wracking to invest in this program. But looking back, every penny I spent was absolutely worth it. In fact, I made back my investment in only two months while still being in the program, by landing my first freelance job as an instructional designer. During my time in AIDA, I had a wonderful success advisor named Cassie. She was incredibly helpful and supportive. I was also part of a group of other aspiring instructional designers in AIDA, and we could chat and help each other out along the way. AIDA's program is well-structured. You learn, analyze, practice, and improve your skills. They really emphasize giving you feedback, which is super helpful. The mentors are always there to guide you, and you have plenty of chances to work with others if you're struggling. In the program, you learn about instructional design theories and how to use various tools like Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, and more. AIDA even helps you create your own portfolio website. I learned a lot in this program, and it jump-started my freelancing career even before my 9 months were up. Thank you to Jill and all the mentors who supported me along the way in AIDA. You changed my life.

Learning Strategy and Design - AIDA AIDA has been the best investment I made for myself and new career as an Instructional Designer! The support is profound, from the mentors, Success Advisor Cassie, FB group and pod mates who will be lifelong friends and resources. AIDA prepared me for every step, and I know I'm a strong Instructional Designer because of the program and it is setting myself up for a very successful career.

I just finished an interview where the interviewer said I did great AND I could actually answer all of his technical questions and theory questions. I would not have been able to get to this point without AIDA providing the structure, rigorous challenges, expertise, and collaborative community. I am confident that leaving the classroom and taking this leap was the right decision for me! If you are serious about making a career transition, AIDA will help you make that move!
