Learning Strategy & DesignReviews of learningstrategyanddesign.com

Very thorough program that gives you the experience needed for a career in ID. I just started my new remote position (making more than teaching) about 2 weeks ago and I’m loving the freedom and flexibility. It can be daunting to read all of these reviews that make it seem like we’re drinking the kool-aid, but it’s not the case. Affordable program, meaningful assignments, lots of success measures built in to make sure you get the most bang for your buck. I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon Jill and AIDA.

Amazing and supportive community! AIDA provides great knowledge building, experience, and mentorship.

Just accepted a job as an Instructional Designer making 50% more than my teacher salary. AIDA was worth every penny.

My experience with AIDA has been wonderful all the way around. I have learned so much from this program and met some exceptional people through it. When I found the program through a free Facebook seminar I had been looking at ID jobs but didn't know how to make the transition from teacher to Instructional Designer. This program made it simple to learn the new skills I needed to successfully transition. Cassie, my success advisor has always been so supportive and encouraging. Without AIDA there is no way I would have been able to make my transition so quickly to a new position that is absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this program to anyone (especially teachers) looking to make a change and get into the Instructional Design field.

I had a great experience going through this program. The thing that made it really exceptional is the level of feedback and support that you receive in the program. Jill and the program mentors and success advisors clearly care about those going through the program and have built a culture of support. The relationships I've built with podmates in my cohort have proven invaluable. The materials taught in the course are relevant and comprehensive. By the end of the program I felt prepared to succeed as an Instructional Designer. I began applying for jobs toward the end of my time in the program and accepted an offer the day after I graduated from program!

I took this journey to invest in my family and me. Glad I was able to learn different skills for when I transition from my current job to a new one in the future. Thank you AIDA!

This program is like no other! It equips you with real world instructional design skills - from the foundations all the way up to job readiness, which includes helpful mock interviews and resume revamp. You complete the program with a portfolio of solid, coach reviewed work using industry-standard authoring tools. And, you gain an incredibly supportive community of people that continues after the program!

From start to finish, the amount of openness and integrity of the program advisors and mentors was commendable! There was never a time that they allowed meager work to be submitted, always offering feedback and raising the completed works to the highest level possible, even for those who already excelled. Lifting each member to their highest possible achievements shows the care and investment of each mentor. I never felt like I had been given something I would be incapable of because the support of the cohorts, Facebook group (with members from overlapping cohorts), coaching calls, bi-weekly pod zoom check ins, and the mentors keeping up with posts on the Facebook page ensured we had all the support we needed when we needed it. I’m quite confident that I’ll continue to learn more, but also quite confident that my skills already exceed those of many older ID’s that have not had the opportunity to do a focused effort to upskill.
