Leaf Guard is the best system for home gutters that I have ever used. The installers are excellent. My installer Andrew helped me with a minor issue after installing 2 years ago. The company is great and the staff is professional. I recommend them to all homeowers

Warranty is useless and pricing excessive
We bought a house with LeafGuard already installed for most of the roof. While the warranty is transferrable, its also quite useless as all it covers is effectively clogging. Here someone will show up with a little tool to clear out leaves but the mud and dirt remains. It supposedly gets 'washed out'. Any other issues incl. a very common one with LeafGuard like mold build up is not covered.
We asked for a proposal to have the system installed on a new roof we put above our deck and got a quote that was almost $10k for less than 60ft. That is beyond excessive and is outright criminal in my view. I strongly recommend to not do business with this company.

We live in Northeast Wisconsin and…
We live in northeast Wisconsin and installed the Leafguard system one year ago. They certainly weren’t cheap! We have large trees around our home and were sold a bill of goods. We just had our system removed and reinstalled by the local branch-the service was great and employees very nice. They have to come off whenever a new roof is installed. However, once the gutters were taken down we looked inside and saw LOTS of leaves!! We had no idea that they were in the gutters. We told the representative about this and he said that they would come out based on the warranty and clean them. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose? We are not happy. Why have an expensive system when they warranty to come out and clean out the gutters with leaves? Do your research before you invest! (If we didn’t have our gutters removed for our new roof, we would have never known!)

READ THE REVIEWS ON THIS COMPANY FIRST!
Ok, I had set an appointment up for today. But had previously set an appointment with another company out to do other work at our house. We were notified just the day before, Sunday that the original work to be done was coming out on Monday. When the gutter representative got here, I tried to explain that when the other company called, my husband left to do what he needed to do as the gutter company said they neeeded access around our home. I explained that I tried to call them to cancel, but I had deleted the phone number out of my phone and forgot the exact company name so I could not call. His face completely changed and I knew this was not going to go well. I felt so bad, that I was willingly going to offer to give him money out of my pocket for my failure. I explained this to him, and he really nastily said that could I at least call the 800 number so he could get paid for this call. I would have been glad to, BUT....he kept his mouth running, it was in a nasty tone, so I told him, "you know what, I would not be calling." I know how businesses work, and would normally not have let this happen. On his way down the steps, he called me a few names and flipped me off. IF he had just tried to let me speak, he would have walked away with a promise to set up another call 1 day and would have had gas money and enough for lunch in his pocket. After I wrote this, I came across reviews on them. Out of all reviews, ONLY 1 was good. The others were 1 or 2 star. 1 person had actually just got done ripping their work out because he said it was done and it looked awful. READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. BUYER BEWARE!

High pressure sales pitch.
We're seniors in our older home here in NC. We've had a lot of overflowing and blocked gutters so we thought we'd get some estimates. First guy is what appears to be a nice young man from Leaf guard. We wanted an estimate. This fellow walked around the house with his phone on a long selfie stick taking photos on our gutters for an hour or so, Then he wants to, no, insists on showing us this video of how well Leaf Guard gutters work. (Info we researched on line later on indicated they don't work all that great.) After coming up with an estimate of (wait for it) $29,000!! we say no thanks. He says, is it just the price holding us up. Will we sign NOW if he can lower the price. Then he goes into this "talking to the manager" routine on the phone, gets it down to $21k. We really need something done so we say okay and sign. Later our kids ask us if we're out of our minds. Perhaps we were. Now I'll give the company credit for one thing. There is a 72 hour (3 business day actually) cancellation clause and I did sign the cancellation form and sent it certified and also emailed them as well. They did honor that so we're off the hook. Nonetheless, their business sales model sucks. If you've ever had a timeshare sales pitch thrown at you, this is very similar, except you can't get up and leave because the dude is in your house.

I had a sales rep come out yesterday…
I had a sales rep come out yesterday for a 30 min presentation just to give me a quote, First the presentation lasted 2 hours...quote was over the top...for gutters. I can add a sunroom for cheaper than what those gutters cost. They really believe you install them and never have to do maintenance. That is not true do you research, people have to still do maintenance. Their sales tactics are pressure sales. Not good , they lost me as a potential customer.

Leafguard of Charlotte Price Gouging
Leafguard of Charlotte salesman quoted price 4 times that of 2 competitors. Their Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval must be for the product (yet to be determined) and not for their price gouging sales tactics. Sales Manager Matt S. actually stated his material costs were $38 per linear foot. Please do not do business with this company as price gouging in NC is illegal in NC during the pandemic!
