Like the product & concept. A mediocre install: with dowspouts placed too close to the corners & garage door opening. In addition, the downspouts hug the brick (good), but bottom 2-ft are kicked out 1/2". I experience a business process failure where the parent Co threatens a lien for non-payment, though paid the day of install. No phone call, email or invoice, but threatened with a lein as first contact that something was amiss. Their letter dated July 7, checking my bank, the check clears July 9. I had a small-ish install: front entry, garage & patio. Saving the rest for an affordable day ($20K). It goes without saying, I won't be back for more given this first experience w/ Great Day Improvements back office.

The price was 3x more than any company. After haggling, got the price closer to reality. The product looks great except where they misaligned the downspouts. That looked awful. The installer didn't use a level and will have to come back to replace that part. Maybe they price errors into the quote? Something is leaking and when it rains, water runs down the front of my house. 4 weeks before they can fix it. I hope my freshly paint house doesn't stain. I will sue them if it does. Lastly, when it rains, the noise is thunderous in the downspout even with the "sound damper". If you decide to get this product, beware.

My experience with LeafGuard was mixed. The actual gutter system seems decent so far, and the installation crew worked quickly and finished the job in one day. I do appreciate not having to constantly worry about leaves clogging the gutters anymore. However, the overall process left me with some concerns. The sales appointment felt much longer and more aggressive than expected. The original quote was extremely high, then suddenly dropped several times after “special discounts” were mentioned, which honestly made the pricing feel inconsistent and difficult to trust. I also felt pressured to make a same-day decision instead of being given time to compare options. After installation, there were a few minor issues with cleanup and one section that needed adjustment. Customer service eventually responded, but it took longer than I would have liked considering the price paid. Overall, the product itself seems okay, but the sales tactics and follow-up service could definitely be improved. Not a terrible experience, but not nearly as smooth or professional as I expected for such an expensive project.

I had all of the gutters on my two-story house replaced with Leaf Guard gutters late last Fall (2025). The first thing that I noticed was how loud the down spouts were and how the rainwater resonated the sound. Then this winter I noticed that there were icicles forming everywhere. I never had any icing problems with my old gutter system, ever. I paid a lot of money to have the Leaf Guard gutters installed. I thought that they were the best product for me as I live in the middle of 40 acres of hard woods and wanted a system that would not need cleaning out. Very disappointed and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I'm not a Leafguard customer but almost became one via Costco promo in GA. My experience with Costco installations has been good; primarily because of the post-installation correction service. The salesperson came to my home and said they'd been chosen by Costco for Georgia after a 6 months trial in California. Needless to say, the climates are quite the opposite and, thankfully, Costco allowed 3 business days to cancel the contract, which I did via both email and via fax (thanks to UPS). Why did I cancel? I'd read the Consumer Reports evaluation of Leafguard's 1 year test with them and it mentioned the rainwater overflowing the gutters in a heavy rain. Handling heavy rain is key for gutters and the CR report and reviews here reinforced my need to cancel my Costco installation of Leafguard. Thank you reviewers who mentioned the performance issue during heavy rain.

Got the gutters last year they've been pretty good. Someone ran over one of the downspout drains and they came and took care of it with in 2 days come me calling them.

I've had LeafGuard for 3 years, it does keep most things out of your gutter, since they've been installed, I haven't had a clog. They are not maintanace free. If you have small leaves they pile up on top of the guard under the shingles. Which must be cleaned out to keep the roof from rotting. Icicles are another issue. You're going to get gigantic Icicles and an ice dam. You must clean snow off your roof with a roof rake. Sales is extremely pushy, cost is very high, and installation if fair.
