I booked, prepaid, through LAX ride, and it took the company three tries (and a lot of my waiting time) to find me a driver, after asserting that a driver would be waiting for me at NY Stewart airport. That showed a lack of corporate logistical sophistication and service. They could easily have anticipated my arrival with a flight tracker, having my flight information, and made the driver arrangements earlier. Once the third driver, Caitlin, was assigned, however, the trip to Albany was perfect. She was sensitive to my need for some quiet time, but engaging when I decided to converse. The car was comfortable, and the 90 minute trip was free of drama. Coming from an overseas flight, it might have been nice to have some water or something in the car...

No point booking through laxride. They basically called me a lyft driver and made a profit being the middleman. They ask for flight arrival time but won’t dispatch a driver until you are at pick up point. I waited 30 minutes for my ride. So why bother asking for arrival time? All this on top of canceling my pick up < 12 hours to airport on my departure 5 days previous. Ended up calling uber and guess what, it was cheaper.

Terrible service. I prepaid for an early morning pickup (4:30am) to airport (1 hour away). When the driver didn't arrive on time we waited 10 minutes then called the main number. There's a recording saying they "don't do phone calls", that we have to text them. 10 minutes later we finally get a text that the driver has been in an accident and won't show at all. We had to drive our car and pay for a week of parking. No apologies, no call later to apologize or to assure a refund of our prepaid reservation. I had to cancel it with our credit card company. Long story short, I'll NEVER use LAXRIDE again.

Do not make the mistake I did and many others who have written REAL reviews below. Terrible ride and terrible decision! IF YOU NEED TO MAKE A FLIGHT OR BE ONTIME THEY WILL ARRIVE OVER AN HOUR LATE AFTER YOU ALREADY PREPAID. Please read my experience below: i ordered a car over 24 hours in advanced and was asked to text the car service 90 minutes prior to my pickup to ensure a car would be on the way. I did just that. My scheduled pick up time was 7:10am, so that I could make my flight. The car did not arrive to me until 8:40am. I tried to call to inquire about the location of the car and tried to explain how unprofessional and inconvenient this was for me, being that I would miss my flight due to the ride service provided. I prepaid so my options were limited as far as cancelling and there is no phone number to call in case of a situation like this... only text or email. I arrived to the airport and missed my flight. I was forced to wait in the airport all day and did not arrive to my destination until 9:30pm when my original arrival time was 4:30pm. I am most certainly due a refund for this inconvenience. My checked luggage also got lost due to confusion around the flight I’d have to be on, costing me an additional $30 dollars for it to be delivered to my home since it arrived to the airport separately. I do not advise you do business with this company, until they are able to fix mistakes such as this one by refunding payments when the contractual obligation agreed upon when purchasing transportation is broken.

I had a totally successful and enjoyable transaction with LAXRide on my recent trip to Miami. Their price is excellent, their value is great, and their driver was prompt, careful and pleasant on my 1-1/2 hr journey. Later in my trip the train I was on malfunctioned, leaving me suddenly stranded 50 miles north of my Miami Airport desrtination. Not only did LAXRide quickly dispatch a ride to me - within 10 minutes withour prior booking! - that driver was also curteous and careful, and got me to my destination with plenty of time to spare. I and my family WILL certainly use LAXRide again and again.

Where to start!, absolutely dreadful experience, avoid LaxRide like the plague, they are a bunch of cowboys. Basically I had to arrange a private cab myself as they did not show. As with my first trip i knew contact was difficult as you cannot actually speak to anyone on the phone, just through text. I had a early 8:30 flight so needed to arrive at the airport @ 5:30AM, as I knew this may prove difficult to arrange with them, I texted them the day before and requested what lead time they needed, they responsed after some time with 30 mins, I confirmed my booking id and was told to text them the next morning when ready. So next morning I texted them @ 4:18, waited 20 mins, nothing, not even an acknowledgement, so texted again and again, nothing... got to 5;20 and i had to get to the airport as i wanted to get through security etc..so got a private cab, then while waiting at the airport to board the plane, about 7:30 , they text me, 'Am i ready for pickup?' , what a joke have they ever travelled international before, you do not rock up 30 mins before the flight etc.. I will be pursuing a full refund for the cab fare i incurred. DO NOT USE this outfit, LAXRide are a bunch of cowboys!

The worst company ever to order transportation. Beware they are a 3rd party to LYFT. They cannot even give the driver an address only cross streets and my ride did not come until half hour late. When you need to catch a flight you depend on ON TIME PERFORMANCE, not this compay!! Stick to UBER They do not even deserve a 1 star rating, I would put it as 0 STARS for their rating.

This service is only a "middle man" between a Uber or Lyft driver and you!!! We had a HORRIBLE experience with them on our return home from LAX! If we had realized that all they were going to do is call a Lyft driver for us, we would have done that ourselves and saved a lot of time, frustration, and money!!!
