Amazing! Can’t wait to come back and bring our Dog. Close to everything and beautifully decorated. Clean and peaceful. Great spot to enjoy all the activities around Asheville.

Very nice cabin. Peaceful location.

Communication with owner prior to arriving was great! The cabin was clean and well-furnished. The location in relation to Ashville and the Blueridge Parkway was perfect. The loft bedroom, without a bathroom on the high-level was a bit annoying, but was as described. The soap in the bathroom was running on empty when we arrived, but there was hand soap in the kitchen area. The front porch and sitting area was great! The cabin was not as secluded as I had hoped, but had minimal traffic and noise. I would stay there again and have already recommended it to a couple of our friends planning a vacation to the Ashville area.

Clean and well appointed cabin in a beautiful setting. The hot tub was an unexpected bonus. Kathleen was so nice and super responsive to our questions/needs. We would highly recommend!

Looking forward to our next visit to Laurel Mountain Retreat. Our cabin had everything needed for a great stay. All we needed was food and clothes. The property had a Keurig style coffee maker, full size fridge with freezer on top, a microwave, a stove, and dishwasher. The bathroom includes a shower/tub combo, and all the towels, soap, toilet paper, and shampoo you'll need. The grill is located by the back porch and is the type you would find at a campground. The property is located within a few minutes of shopping and restaurants, and it's just a short drive to hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, etc. The outside porches are great places to relax in the rockers or swing. We didn't try the hot tub, but it looked very inviting. The owner of the property (Kathleen) is extremely accommodating and wanted us to have the best stay possible. Yes the cabins are fairly close together, but even though we had neighbors on both sides of our cabin we never heard a sound. Our granddaughters thought they were in heaven and the washer and dryer allowed us to wash clothes throughout our stay which kept us from over-packing and left us with no clothes to wash after our long drive home. So why four and not five stars? We found the mattresses too soft, and having a larger sofa or recliner in the upstairs family area would have been nice. With that said we've already started thinking about our next visit to this wonderful property. You really can't go wrong staying here.
